The Vet Whitehaven are by far the best vets around Cumbria. They go the extra mile no others would even consider, all the staff are so polite and well mannered. Our little french bulldog has bad skin problems from the day we got him as a puppy. He was in the vets every week with a different problem/infections and we felt as if the vets weren't interested in getting Tommy the right path to a comfortable life but once we found the Vet Whitehaven everything changed. They helped us find the best solution for Tommy and they even have the decency to have him in every week for a regular clean with products he doesn't allow us to do our selves. This just shows how great and gentle they are with the pets they receive. Tommy wouldn't have the life he has now with out them and we really appreciate the high quality of service yous provide.🐾🐕

Last week I had Vern neutered at The Vet. They took great care of him and the followup procedures were excellent. I really like this surgery. The young staff clearly love animals and their work. Really grateful we registered Vern here. Thank you for such a professional, friendly service.

I really can't speak highly enough of this Vet practise. The only time we visited was unfortunately when my beloved dog was unexpectedly at the end of his life. It came as a shock when what I thought would be something minor was rapidly diagnosed by them as something that my boy could not recover from. He had a serious heart condition which couldn't be fixed. Despite this, Dr Katie spoke through all my options with me and was so sympathetic to the shock I was experiencing. When it finally became clear there was nothing more I could do for my boy she talked me through my options. I was so pleased that one of those options was to put my boy to rest in his home. This made the whole process much less traumatic for both him and me. My baby went comfortably in his own home and the caring compassionate nature of Dr Katie and Nurse Emma also put him at ease. I could not have wished for a kinder more caring send off than what my Toby was given. This was then followed by a truly heart felt sympathy card from Dr Katie. Despite the fact that was the first time they had met my boy I truly felt like they bonded and my boy was so comfortable with Dr Katie. I have visited a lot of vet practises over the years, all over the country, and this is one of the most caring vet practises I have ever been registered with. If the time comes for me to have another pet they will be my first choice. Thank you so much to Katie and Emma

What a great Veterinary practice! 🏥 I've seen a few of the vets for my cat and dog since they've been open. They do so much to help and you can tell they really care ❤️ If you have queries they're happy to answer over the phone or email if you just want to check something post-visit I'd highly recommend them They do in-house testing so results and treatment are really quick, which is what you want when you have a poorly or suffering pet Shout outs to the vets Iina, Lynn & Sophie they've all been great 🐾
