After our one year old Maine Coon, Twyla, suffered a severe fall and a complex ligament injury, our original vet advised that amputation was the only realistic option due to the difficulty and cost of surgery. We were heartbroken but determined to give her a second chance, so we began researching online. We chose The Vet Station specifically because of their amazing reviews, and it was the best decision we could have made. A special shoutout must go to Vanessa, the surgeon. She is truly gifted and performed a successful pancarpal arthrodesis when others would not even try. The level of care was outstanding; Vanessa and the team went above and beyond, checking in with us daily to monitor Twyla’s progress, even throughout the holiday season. While other places forecast a recovery period of three to six months, Twyla is already jumping around and thriving just two months after her operation. It is clear that this team cares deeply about animal welfare and possesses the expertise to handle the most difficult cases. We are so grateful we found them.

Lovely Veterinary practice. Vanessa and team are approachable, kind and will go out of their way to help, I know, as I have a difficult doggie! Every time I leave, I’m always grateful I went a little bit further, than using a local veterinary practice! They are the best team.

Extremely helpful, and professional. Skyla needed to have an operation for her cruciate ligament. Unfortunately my insurance didn’t cover the whole procedure, but luckily the Vet station came in with a much better price than I had been quoted by my previous vet’s. Skyla is currently seeing the Physio who works alongside the Vet station, and we’ve been very impressed with this service too.

So glad to have found The Vet Station with my dog Molly, who has complex orthopaedic issues which the previous vet struggled with. Very friendly and knowledgable, it was clear from other clients in the surgery how well-thought of they are in the local community. An absolute plus that they are independent too. Dr Vanessa is patiently helping me to navigate Molly’s next procedure. Thank you 🙏

The Vet Station staff were so welcoming from the moment we entered. The ladies made me and my cat feel so at ease, we got nothing but impeccable, friendly care. His vaccination went so quickly, I don’t think he even noticed it happened! Big thank you to Gill who was so kind and reassuring x
