This is a place filled with love. The staff are real professionals. I can not thank the members of the team enough how they handled me at the most difficult time in dog ownership. Their compassion understanding and support was just amazing. These are guys are a vet practice I would recommend. Thank you from me (and Lola RIEP 🐾)
Read on Google →It has been 2 years since I’ve started going to this vet and I’m finally going to leave a review that has been a long time coming. My experience has been that this place has few people that actually care about your pet. They care more about what they can charge you. I have had the pleasure of dealing with Brooke on the phone multiple times and Ashliegh who has looked after my dog. I have also dealt with Laura who was also very informative and helpful. It’s important that I say these individuals are amazing. They DO care and you can tell they love your pet. However, I have run into more individuals that care more about what they can charge you. I won’t mention their names publicly as they will know who they are. Yesterday I took in my dog for blood in her poo. I was told everything looked ok and they were happy with how she seemed but then told I may need a blood test. After being made to feel scared about what it could be I said “If she needs it then I’ll have to do it”. The vet was eager to charge me the £240 something for the bloods just for them to come back and him say yea everything’s fine. Just as he thought. I’ll shorten the story a little by summarising how I had to go twice because her bloods got confused with another dog and they needed to take more from her and also had to stick her SIX times in total. Don’t get me wrong, my dog is a wiggly little scared dog but she’s only 2kg and I just don’t feel like it’s reasonable to go through what I have. I’m so disappointed and I feel like I’ve been absolutely scammed by being scared into doing blood work that wasn’t even needed. I really wish I would have asked for Ashleigh when I booked the appointment and have learned my lesson going forward.
Read on Google →We moved an hour away and registered with a new vet but quickly came back to The Pet Vet Nottingham. Between two dogs we've had 3 different operations, and I can honestly say they have been the best vets I've ever been to. Other reviewers have mentioned compassion and kindness. I'd agree whole heartedly and like to add to that: flexibility, understanding, top notch surgical skills, cost effectiveness, friendliness and such a wide range of knowledge amongst the entire staff that it doesn't matter who you see, they will do their best for you. They are especially good with nervous animals and worried owners! I wouldn't even consider going anywhere else, keep it up and thank you Nottingham Pet Vet!
Read on Google →I've been taking my Dog Ollie to this vets for many years now, and never been disappointed. Friendly receptionists, vets and nurses caring amd professional. Would recommend. One thing I do think needs to be back is the desk in the waiting room for the receptionist to work behind. Visited today and wasn't greated with that smile like I'm used to , as staff have to stand in a back room. Just feel more personal and professional seeing the desk there with someone behind it to greet me. Other than that slight moan top class service 👏 Ollie says thank you too
Read on Google →Our beautiful boy Otto had to sadly be put to sleep on Friday and I will never forget the compassion the staff showed and the care they gave. They acted super fast and saw us straight away. They really did go above and beyond and I’ll be forever grateful for that. Thank you! ❤️
