Disappointing experience – chaotic and poor customer service We booked an appointment for our cat here after reading positive reviews online, but our experience was very different! The main issue was a frustrating lack of customer service and empathy. There surgery was clearly understaffed and receptionist was stressed and overwhelmed. Upon arrival, we were told they weren’t taking new patients and couldn't see us—despite us having an appointment (booked over the phone with them!) After checking with the owner, we were told they would only see our cat as an emergency; otherwise, we had to go back to our old vet. The receptionist also stated that our cat’s old vet would need to be contacted to get medical records and this wasn’t done, which was a Clerical error on their behalf. While we understand being at capacity, this was an internal error and We expected some flexibility, courtesy, or at least an apology for their mistake, but we received none. The owner didn't come out to speak to us. When we suggested they review their staff training, we were simply told they would look into it internally. Travelling to the vet is incredibly stressful for animals, especially cats. To put a pet through that stress only to be turned away due to a practice's own mistake shows a disappointing lack of consideration. Poor experience all around.

You are an absolute disgrace to the veterinary service , no compassion no empathy just self self self My old boy of 19 has been with you last 15 years we are in the process of making the painful decision of having him euthanised I asked for his records , which we are legally entitled to, not to move vets just wanted to see his records , maybe a second opinion I wasn’t sure at this stage and I was very emotional and confused , as our last visit of a scan was rushed you never gave us time or the full picture , came out in the waiting room said ‘ he’s got a lump ‘ that’s it , left us cold and unanswered questions . then I called up few days later as he needed his pain meds to be told you had taken us of your register for no reason , other than I asked for his records and ,having your nose put out and having to type up the records !!! I was crying on this call also stating to you I was upset as probably last time he will be getting his meds due to the euthanasia. Having to find a new vets for his pain weeks before euthanasia isn’t what we needed right now …. Looking at other reviews this isn’t the first time you have done this …. Heartless uncaring disgraceful I’m absolutely heartbroken and you have made this journey more unbearable as it is Uncaring no empathy disgraceful

Incredible service. I do not have any pets registered here but I had a concern that I needed help and advice with. The receptionist was very helpful and understanding. The Vet herself was wonderful and really helped me out. Amazing communication, they took my phone number and called me daily for updates which really eased my mind. I may have to transfer my pets to this local vets after the brilliant service I received, especially as they helped me and I am not even a registered customer!
