We first went to Thames Vet for a second opinion, and we’ve never looked back. Doug has been amazing with Stan from the very beginning, and you can genuinely see how much he cares about animals . His care, his patience, and the way he explains everything has always made me feel reassured. His prices are really reasonable, and they’re also brilliant with communication — messages are answered quickly, and even the insurance email were dealt with in just 6 days. My last vet took 6 weeks, so the difference is huge. Any time I get in touch, he replies within minutes, and nothing is ever too much trouble. His kindness and dedication really stand out. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Milo had his first visit at the practice yesterday with a broken nail, and I was immediately impressed by how friendly the staff were and how quickly they fitted him in to be seen the same day. Doug was absolutely brilliant with Milo and super friendly as always (he previously did Milo’s surgery elsewhere). We’re so pleased we changed to Thames Vet ☺️

Love Thames Vet!! We switched to Thames Vet a couple of months ago and I wish we had done that sooner!!! The service is fantastic, and cost is so much more reasonable. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough!!! They saved our 15 year old Sheltie and i would like to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone at Thames Vet!

Thames vet is fantastic. My 12 y old labrador loves Dougie. I find Dougie is a really lovely genuine person who clearly loves his job . Dougie and his staff are really excellent . Caring , professional very knowledgeable and helpful when i ask for advice. I often recommend his practice to other dog owners. Basil is always happy to go to the vets and they aren't like many veterinary chains in it for the money. You can tell the team all love being there and I trust Dougie implicitly with his wealth of knowledge and clear love for him job. I'm delighted and so happy I've found a fantastic vet.
