Everything about this vet is fantastic. Very personal service and they make a fuss of all of the animals. I feel very fortunate this is in my area.

Read on Google →An amazing vets, bar none! I've had 4 dogs living good ages and generally needing minimal vets interventions. However our last boy developed lumps and bumps inline with his breed and our original vet unfortunately wasn't good and we were recommended Temple End. Our poor boy had cancer and from start to finish Esme from the practice, (along with ALL the staff) have been amazing. They have been caring, listened to our needs and of course the comfort of our dog. When the time came they were utterly perfect, allow us to come to terms with the fact and deal with it how we needed to. I cannot thank the practice enough for their patience, care and professionalism.... Plus the Stolen Church facility is stunning, not the first thing you should look for but worth noting that investment appears to be going into pet care facilities
Read on Google →I only registered my dog, black Lab Solo, at this practice in March based mostly on local word of mouth recommendations. I am so glad I did. Solo was a little under the weather on Friday 6th June and was unusually quiet overnight. By the morning he was obviously very unwell and not at all interested in food, which any Lab owner will recognise as a red line. I called the surgery and got an immediate appointment. The initial examination flagged some worrying possibilities, including cancer, and they kept Solo in for Xray and Ultrasound and blood tests. He stayed there through Sunday under observation but by Monday they explained they had to operate and also take a biopsy. The op went Ok but they found a significant length of intestine was inflamed. Over Tuesday he was not responding as they wished and by Wednesday, there was a worrying possibility that without repeat surgery he wouldn’t make it. There was a long discussion with all options and risks fully and clearly explained. There was a reluctance to operate again so soon after major surgery and his age, approaching ten. He was not eating and had had no food by mouth since Saturday, but had been rehydrated and medicated via IV. They believed if they could get some food into him, the gut would start to respond normally and hopefully start the recovery needed. Instead of further surgery, they inserted a tube through his nose down to the stomach and fed him small amounts of liquid diet every two hours. On Thursday afternoon he took some solid food from my hand for the first time (I was visiting daily). From then on the recovery was steady. By the Saturday the IV medication could be discontinued and on the Sunday I was able to bring him home with tablet medication for around a week. Solo is now on a Hypoallergenic diet for the foreseeable future, and on limited exercise while the wound from surgery heals, but is just like his old, lovable self. He was signed off this week following the post op consultation. I am so grateful to all eight vets, nurses and reception staff involved in this nine day, eight night saga. Their professionalism , skill, compassion, explanations and twice daily communications was outstanding. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending the practice to any pet owner. Thank you so much Temple End.
