  Dr Molly was exceptional as always in caring for my two parrots. I brought them in for a routine check, not suspecting anything, but she detected subtle respiratory changes straight away. Thanks to her thorough approach, they received prompt treatment, X-rays, and a diagnosis of aspergillosis. She supported us every step of the way, and they are now on the road to recovery. I couldn’t be happier with the care they received. It’s such a relief to find a practice where my parrots are treated with the same dignity and attention as any dog or cat. The team, including the highly skilled exotic nurses, are truly outstanding. This practice is a breath of fresh air and exactly what the veterinary sector needs. ❤️ Keep up the great work TEAV

  I followed Molly, Craig & team from the previous practice because they are the most amazing rabbit vets (I’m sure excellent with other species too, I know they treat so many different exotics). They gave my own rabbits many extra years at the old practice, particularly saving Fudge’s life many times - giving him an extra 4.5 years life post kidney disease diagnosis to 11 years old (he unfortunately had a stroke so was PTS as he went very downhill, vet Charlie (also at this new practice) had so much empathy whilst I fell apart saying goodbye and was so caring treating him delicately with dignity) - just to point out there was nothing there could have been done as I realised too late that it was a stroke. Molly, Craig & team gave Fudge a healthy lively life, despite arthritis, ear disease, heart calcification plus cured a series of abscesses - to the uneducated eye you wouldn’t know there was anything wrong with him - second photo is of him foraging at 10 years old. Arthritis had been missed in both my buns by local vets and only found by Molly on referral for other conditions. (I had sought her out as a specialist from excellent reviews). Molly kept Fudge binkying and bouncing up on the sofa into double digits. In September, we took an abandoned foster bun to Molly’s new practice for some complicated surgeries (you can clearly seen the tooth here going up his nose 😢 on the first photo which was one of the issues), one (middle ear disease) of which was not realised until the day (I’d found an ear base lump the evening I got him, which Molly confirmed was an issue). Unfortunately despite being in emergency foster before he came to me, the rescue had not let me know about the teeth issues and on finding out from the emergency foster, TEAV where able to pull his health check and neuter appointment forward to the morning after I got him to deal with his teeth, which undoubtedly saved his life as he had tiny poops going into G.I.Statis - 2 teeth were removed (another was also cutting into his mouth) and he would have been in a lot of pain from the middle ear disease too which Molly also dealt with to help relieve him of pain and start him on antibiotics and painkillers. He breezed through the operations and settled at home. Unfortunately later the next day after struggling to syringe feed him his recovery food, they let me bring him in as an emergency as I was worried about G.I.Statis (which can be fatal to rabbits). Due to the total road closure of a large section of Edge Lane (due to a police car crashing) the journey was chaos being stuck in the tunnel and various diversions, and took double the amount of time, so we arrived 15 minutes before they closed. We saw a different vet, Sheryl and she was also extremely experienced - likely saving his life. The whole practice staff we dealt with went absolutely above and beyond (along with the vet, special thanks to Practice Manager, Debbie) to ensure the bun got all the health care he needed, whilst they were dealing with a critical emergency, and whilst difficult decisions were being made out of their regular hours. This will be my first choice practice to use every time, my only wish is they aren’t an hour+ drive from me, however, well worth the drive (I’ve half joked about moving nearer!). A rabbit specialist vet is extremely hard to find and we are not only lucky to have Molly and team in the NW, but that she is literally advancing rabbit medicine, via training other vets globally with her training events, her editions of The Textbook of Rabbit Medicine and webinars for vets and exotic pet guardians (please find them to watch - even as an experienced pet owner, you’ll learn a thing or two!). Do not hesitate to book an appointment, you won’t be disappointed. Molly, Craig and team are genuine animal lovers and always put these animals first, giving ethical advice which is so, so important. The work they to help the absolute worst rescue cases must take such a high toll on them and they should be absolutely be commended for all they do and their dedication.

  I can't praise the team at TEAV highly enough, when one of my ageing raccoon dogs, Taz had to be PTS after a short battle with an aggressive tumour. From the initial appointment after I noticed he had an issue through to the final appointment, the care and compassion was clear to see. I did have some issues with communication, not receiving a call back when advised, but after chasing it up I was informed this was due to unexpected emergency admissions when the call was due, which is unavoidable and understandable, especially with a small team and new practice, which had only been open for a few weeks at the time.

  Would just like to thank everyone, especially Charlie (I think was her name) who looked after us today. I had to have my little boy Tofu the guinea pig pts. I was only blessed with around 2.5 years with him but he meant so much to me and will be very much missed, by me, my partner and the dog! Charlie was so kind, caring and didn’t make me feel rushed when spending some time with him before he passed. It was all very calm and peaceful for him and that’s all you can ask for when their time comes. I dealt with Craig too previously who also was so friendly and genuinely caring. Thank you for all your kindness and for making sure Tofu’s final moments were as comfortable as possible. We brought Tofu home after his euthanasia and buried him in the garden, his favourite place ❤️🥺 and will donate his bedding etc to our local charity. Just a few pics of happy times ❤️

  Top tier vets- my pet snake Asclepius has just eaten for the first time in 6 months after careful and persistent treatment from an RTI. These vets are amazing they worked out a treatment plan that was cost effective whilst not compromising on his treatment. Thank you so much - at the start of this year I thought I was going to lose him and now here he is back to his old self
