Cannot thank and recommend Stowvets enough for what they do for my cat Sox, he attends regularly for nail clipping and a thyroid check up/treatment. I recently discovered a small lump on Sox and this was treated and action taken immediately and successful surgery today, big shoutout to Konrad for everything he’s been doing for Sox and all the staff at Stowvets too. Thank you so much again.

At the beginning of December my dog became suddenly very unwell. I telephoned the vets and the receptionist was excellent. She was very understanding and realised the urgency. When we attended they greeted us and provided my dog with a mattress in reception. The vet quickly made a diagnosis of possible cause and the seriousness of the situation. After a non invasive test to confirm diagnosis. We decided our nine year old GSD should pass away peacefully. Again the team were excellent, she passed away peacefully. We remain devastated but are extremely grateful to everyone involved in her care that evening.

Absolutely disgusting. They 'treated' my dog for over a week, even though I did request antibiotics on day 1. After a week of shocking amount of paracetamol , their "treatment" actually worsening my dog's condition and bill of over £2k- they ended up giving him what I requested on day 1 anyway... My dog ended up with damaged liver because of the amount of paracetamol he's been given (which the practice tried to hide). So my poor pooch went in with simple food poisoning, which could have easily been sorted within 24hrs but instead cost me over £2k and a liver damage. This practice is all about money, nothing else- just read other comments...

The staff that I have had the pleasure of interacting with are wonderful. My dog has been registered with these vets since spring 2025 and she has had two surgeries during this time. All of the staff that dealt with her were amazing and I cannot praise them enough. The only reason this is not a five star review is simply because I feel the practice is lacking in their price transparency and mark up the medicines - medicines for which were not included in the invoice so would come as a suprise to somebody who is caught out. Whether or not that is a deliberate misdirection, a simple error or they are wanting to hoodwink you into paying several times more for their medicine is up for speculation. However, I feel this should be addressed as soon as possible, as this is the only thing that is bringing this vet practice down.

Had Stowe Equine/large animals out to see my alpacas. The attending vet was Professional, confident and approachable. She Provided a knowledgeable inspection of my animals, and a very helpful and thorough explanation of her results and the proposed care plan. Could not have felt in safer hands and been more pleased … If I could give more stars I would.
