Absolutely disgusted with every experience I’ve had with st David’s vets from our frenchie being a puppy. they messed up her vaccines so she had to have them all twice and whilst getting these done tried to scare us into booking a operation she didn’t need saying she needed an operation on her nose to be able to breath better she has never had any issues breathing. Yesterday I brought her in due to her back causing her pain due to playing to rough with my parents frenchie when brought in they told me it was a trapped nerve and for her to have crate rest for 2 weeks and painkillers and anti inflammatory medication I had to ask the vet for an injection to help the pain quicker and they have put it on her notes that it’s early IVDD due to her being a frenchie she was showing no signs of IVDD no limping no dragging her back legs or no issues walking now due to this being on her file we are unable to take out insurance on her as no one will cover her with this on her file even though the vet told me to take out insurance on her make that make sense absolutely disgusted with the service from start to finish and the lady at reception is blunt and rude when you call I believe they’re just trying to get as much money out of you as possible and would not recommend frenchie owners to go to this vets!!!

I took an injured baby pigeon to the vets. I was met outside by Sven who thoroughly assessed the little bird and told me he would try to do what he could to save it. Sven was absolutely fantastic, cared for the pigeon and treated it for a number of days to give it the best chance of survival. He kept me updated on how the pigeon was doing. I am so grateful that he gave it a chance and showed compassion. Thank you :)

Great vets but i can not give full marks like i once would of as sadly like most vet places now, it is money what comes first over the pets, even if got pet insurance.. Would of given more than best stars before if could, but sadly can not now. Will still give 4 as think still lot better than most vets for care once given and are friendly staff, and generally nice friendly reception team, just not as understanding or caring as used to be sadly. But at least aware of the changes proper now. My dog loves going there though as he is odd like that 😂🙃

Words simply cannot describe how amazing this Veterinary practice is and all the staff. I went at the start of January and after my cat fell down the stairs and hit his head. He received a full check over along with a nail clipping and some also shaving off his matted fur. The care and consideration for my cat, especially in his old age and after the no doubt truma inducing event for him, was above and beyond. Thank you for looking after my little lad and making sure he was okay. We are both extremely thankful for your kindness.

i unfortunately had to bring my senior cat in as an emergency to be put to sleep and the team here were so supportive. every staff member i spoke to was so kind, helpful , friendly and understanding and gave me plenty of time to say goodbye. they treated my beautiful girl with such respect and were so gentle and patient with her, they explained the whole process thoroughly, gave me plenty of time to make the necessary decisions and be with her, and made her as comfortable as possible in her final hours. i can’t thank the team enough for being so wonderful to us in such a difficult time, even dealing with other patients too they were so efficient and helpful, and i would definitely recommend this practice. thank you x
