Disappointing Experience with Health Certificate appointment for traveling abroad and poor communication about pricing . I am writing this review to express my dissatisfaction with my recent experience at your clinic regarding the appointment for a health certificate, which was cancelled just a day before my travel. The lack of professionalism displayed was incredibly frustrating, especially as I was not informed of any potential issues until the last moment. The uncertainty and stress caused during this time were unnecessary and could have been avoided with better communication. Furthermore, I had to take the initiative to demand an alternative clinic to address the issue, which added to my frustration. Also the pricing was incorrectly quoted over the phone , once I booked the appointment the vet gave me a much higher quote with no explanation. I expected a higher standard of service, especially considering the importance of obtaining this certificate in a timely manner. I hope that you will take this feedback seriously and make the necessary improvements to prevent future occurrences for other clients.

Having acquired a cat from his previous owner, I requested renewal supplies of two of his medications. After three days I got no response, and when I phoned again was told I would have to pay £60 for a visit to get that done. This seems exorbitant and unnecessary, and I am thinking of going to another vet practice.

Fantastic experience with Southdown vets. Always really helpful on the phone and really friendly on reception. Vets have all been really helpful. My dog recently had to be sedated for ear checks and the attending practicioners (sorry I didn't catch their names!) made him really comfortable and were very understanding with him being very nervous. Wouldn't hestitate to recommend to anyone.

Wow! What an amazing experience. I was able to get an appointment within days and got seen by a very kind vet who was able to determine my cat (Miss P)'s problem very quickly. The staff who were on reception were also excellent. They gave me extra advice free of charge and my cat is now fully recovered. I am not one to leave google reviews but this was an exceptional level of care. For anyone looking for a new veterinary practice, these guys are the best!
