We took our poorly bearded dragon to this vets. No treatment was given and he ended up being put to sleep. We were charged morethan having ourdear labrador out to sleep and then we got an email a day later to say they had undercharged us by £65! If their staff are not trained to take the correct amount when paying, perhaps they need some extra training! I didn’t paythe shortfall as i was disgusted at the price i paid on the day let alone another £65. I was threatened they would take this legal. A pathetic, money grabbing business who are obviously only in it forthe money, would definitely NOT recommend

Lovely kind and knowledgeable team of staff, so glad I discovered this vet via the hen welfare website. My Chicken is doing very well after needing an operation . Would definitely recommend Charlotte and the team for poultry expertise.

Charlotte looked after my two beardies who sadly passed away a few years ago. We moved out of the area and adopted another beardie. I didn't hesitate to register this one with Skylark even though we were half an hour away because the service and compassion of everyone there is beyond excellent.

I truely recommend skylark (Charlotte and her lovely team), for any one who seeks a professional, extra caring and understanding vet. Have been going to skylark for a year or so now with my old chickens who slowly became poorly for one reason or another. Most vets won't treat chickens. One even told me they only know chicken to be in a soup. Not what you want to hear when your hens mean something to you. Recently had to take my last remaining girl to skylark for breathing issues. Charlotte examined her and between us we decided the best thing was to put her to sleep. Charlotte was so kind and caring for both my chicken (Dorris) and for my own feelings. I stayed in there while Dorris slowly drifted off to chicken heaven. I later received a sympathy card and wild garden seeds which I thought was a lovely touch. Honestly a great vets and set up especially if you have weird and wonderful pets or are just a little weird and maybe woundeful like me 😂 Pictured below are the old girls wanting to come inside. And the new crew who no doubt one day will fancy a jolly to skylark 💕
