RUDE beyond belief practice manager. I made an appointment for new pup to have first vaccination and older dog to register as have just moved to Shirebrook. She called me 2 hours before my appointment to cancel on the basis that old vet hasn't sent the medical records from my older dog. I told her this is because I need to call them to authorise and she said it didn't matter it 'raises alarm bells' so rudely cancelled regardless. Old vet sent records 2 minutes later, no matter the won't see me!! I am beyond upset. They implied I don't pay my vet bills when it was just because I moved and needed to authorise for data protection. I have never been so insulted in. my entire life. How dare this woman speak to me this way! SO SO ANGRY. AVOID

I’d definitely recommend Shirebrook vets as they helped us to put our cat Loki down last minute when she was quite poorly and the staff were so lovely towards us. I didn’t get the vet’s name who helped us with Loki but we couldn’t thank him enough for what he did. It was such a difficult time for us and we loved the card that they sent us that had our cats paw prints on. The kindness that Shirebrook vets showed us was amazing so we will recommend this vets to our friends & family. Thank you so much. ♥️🐾

These veterinarians are really lovely to talk to. They explain everything thoroughly and don't try to rush you out. You can tell they love the animals. My little pooch has been recovering from a leg operation and the vets have constantly been in touch to check up on his progress.

We have seen Sean and he was fantastic and caring to my dog (to me he wasn't just a dog, he was my baby) Sean was honest and helped me to understand what my options were and what we was dealing with. He was extremely professional and gave me as much time as I needed so I could say goodbye to my baby. Thank you Sean for your help and care for Pip. Our family is a bit broke at the loss of him but we didn't want him suffering. Normally with Vets Pip has backed off and been really uneasy with them but with you he seemed quite relaxed and knew you was doing the best that you could. Thank you Oh and the lady on reception was AMAZING, she was caring and compassionate with what I was dealing with, thank you for listening to me.
