We was on a short break in the new forest when our dog’s kneecap came out he was in pain & we didn’t know where to go, I googled Seadown Vet group in Lymington as we had no signal we drove there on Saturday morning hoping to be seen. The minute we arrived we were greeted by a lovely receptionist who took all our details & was seen within 10 minutes by the lovely vet Claire, she had time for us explained everything but most importantly worked her magic & got our dog out of pain. There were no out of hours fees to pay as they were open, we can’t praise the care given to us enough by these 2 special ladies on what was a stressful time away from home. Thank you so much we are so grateful. 💕💕
Read on Google →I feel let down. Sadly this vet won't see a pet in distress unless you are registered with them. Having just moved to Lymington and in urgent need of a vet to see my pet who was seriously injured yesterday - they still wouldn't see us unless we were registered. But they are not taking on new customers at this moment as they have too much work. Not even in an emergency. I guess you can all make up your own mind whether that is an ethical approach you would expect - but it's not in my book as all vet's have a duty of care to help any animal in distress, even if it's inconvenient, just find a way to help in some way. Welcome to Seadown but if you're not registered, your animals distress is unfortunate, please go elsewhere. Ethics is more important than policy folks. I can wait on a list to join officially in 6 months no problem for boosters and regular stuff - but not assisting (at all) with an animal in pain is just wrong.
Read on Google →The vets here are outstanding and so compassionate, when our old dog had to be put down ,they were professional ,bit understood our pain and emotions. Absolutely brilliant service
Read on Google →Not very impressed with Seadown Veterinary Group, phoned for appointment explaining it was an eye injury and the woman who I spoke to was very off and said they had no appointments and all I could do was to try ringing at 8.30am tomorrow and I might be able to get one! I guess they don't take small animals as seriously as larger ones? I wasn't even asked if it was an emergency! Instead I took my injured pet all the way over to my old vets - Christopher Carter Veterinary Surgery in Shirely, where I had excellent service!
Read on Google →Staff tend to be rude (not all though) my dog loved going to the vets for 5 years. Saw a consultant of theirs and now has a massive fear. We have changed him now to a different vets.
