We recently brought our little kitten in to be spayed, and from start to finish the experience was exceptional. Natalie, the vet, was incredibly kind and reassuring during our initial consultation. She took the time to answer all our questions and truly put us at ease, especially after we hadn’t had the best experience elsewhere. When we dropped Elchi off, Lucy the nurse was so understanding and compassionate (particularly during my emotional wobble!!) which meant more to us than we can say. When we collected her, the student nurse Nat was patient, thorough and incredibly helpful in explaining everything clearly. Our kitten is now back home and doing great post-surgery, which is the biggest reassurance of all. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team including the wonderful reception staff for making what felt like a big day for us so calm, supportive and smooth.

The most caring vets practice you could ask for! I feel so lucky to have found Sandbeck vets for my dogs. They have never been happier and the care they receive from Sandbeck goes above and beyond. Stress free, understanding, honest and never hesitate to speak to you or see you with any concerns. I feel my dogs are in very good hands.

We cannot thank Julian Norton and the entire team enough for the outstanding care they provided to our F2 cockapoo, Ruby, from start to finish. Ruby’s surgery was carried out with excellent results, and what truly set this experience apart was how calm, safe, and reassured both Ruby and our family felt throughout. A heartfelt thank you to Kaitlyn for her kindness, support, and exceptional communication — it made such a difference. Ruby came home bright, comfortable, and clearly well cared for, and we’re absolutely delighted with her outlook. The whole team are truly impressive, and we would not hesitate to recommend them. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ We originally registered at Sandbeck Veterinary Centre after our usual vet was unsure about the diagnosis and treatment for our young hamster, Milo. Within days he was correctly diagnosed and underwent intricate, lifesaving surgery—something few vets would attempt. Thanks to their skill and compassion, Milo is now recovering well. It’s such a relief to have found a practice with the knowledge and dedication to care for exotics and small animals. Milo may have a tiny body, but he has enormous spirit. Our sincere thanks to the whole team. ❤️

Fantastic vets. Not had the best experience with other vets in the past so was always nervous. As a new customer, I cannot praise them enough. Honestly I wouldn’t put my pets safety with anybody else now! Sandbeck are by far the best vets we have been with. They always make my cat, Gizmo feel so safe. They are very informative and helpful. The receptionists and vets, can’t praise them enough!

From walking through the doors to saying our goodbyes, we were in the very best hands every step of the way. The surgery on my dog’s eye was absolutely impeccable! I’ve never seen sutures so neat on a human, let alone in such a delicate area on a dog. It gave me such peace of mind knowing she was being cared for by people who clearly love what they do. Seeing how happy she was when I collected her said it all; she’d been fussed, cuddled, and properly looked after all day. I specifically chose Sandbeck to carry out the surgery, rather than my usual vet, after so many glowing recommendations, and I’m so glad I did. They even called the next day to check how she was recovering, which was such a thoughtful touch. My only complaint? I don’t live in Wetherby, otherwise this would be our regular practice without question.
