  A first class veterinary specialist practice. Everyone in the team that we met were professional, friendly, caring and knowledgeable. Everything was fully explained to me and costs were transparent. We also received excellent care following my dogs treatment. I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants the best for their beloved pets.

  Can’t recommend Vita Referrals enough. My 4 year old lab was referred for unexplained severe sudden onset lameness. As someone who is naturally very skeptical, i was very skeptical that I couldn’t find a negative review anywhere for them - but there is without a doubt a reason for that!✨ Absolutely amazing care provided with top class knowledge. Incredibly accommodating when her symptoms dramatically deteriorated 48 hours post initial referral from my regular vets, holding a meeting with the surgical team from videos sent in and getting her seen the next morning. Within a week of being referred we had been seen for our consult and investigative CT scan with Nick, who was incredibly kind, patient and professional throughout, answering my many, many questions. Received the results and scheduled surgery for an elbow arthroscopy was in within days, with plans to treat her slipped disc later down the line, a treatment plan put in place to keep her the most comfortable and pain free at every step. Everyone I had the pleasure of interacting with, receptionist, nurses and surgeons were all absolutely lovely and had my pets best interest at heart, offering incredible patience, support and help without judgement. I also had the pleasure of having Stuart operate a secondary surgery, her spinal injection, as Nick was on holiday and I wanted her seeing sooner than he would be back, which was again facilitated within days. I was again, offered exceptional care, Stuart was very down to earth and explained everything in detail giving me peace of mind and full reassurance she was in the best hands again. My girl is usually incredibly anxious and nervous but at Vita she was happy and trotted off with the surgeons and nurses with a wagging tail, even on her third visit back! I was kept informed throughout her recovery through their app. They even sent me this adorable picture of her post surgery! I would without a doubt recommend Vita to anyone and everyone and should I need specialist help in the future this is where I will be asking to be referred to without a shadow of a doubt.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

  We can’t thank Vita Referrals in Wetherby enough for everything they’ve done for our 8-year-old Border Collie, Poppy. She has now had both hips replaced, with Stuart as the lead surgeon, and the difference it has made to her comfort and quality of life is honestly incredible. We were really anxious going into such major surgery, but from the very first appointment the whole team helped put us at ease. Everyone came across as genuinely caring and interested throughout; not just in the procedure, but in Poppy as a dog and in us as worried owners. They took time to explain everything clearly, answered our questions with patience, and supported us through each stage of recovery. Seeing Poppy start to move more freely again has been such a huge relief and it’s been emotional watching her get her confidence back. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Stuart and the team at Vita Referrals to anyone facing the same decision.

  Our pet had both legs TPLO surgery. We were put at ease by Rob upon examination. He performed the surgery and we were updated on her recovery throughout until we picked her up next day. We were given written instructions on how to assist her recovery for the next 7 weeks until her follow-up appointment. We then were given positive results from the x rays taken. We felt our pet had the best care & would highly recommend this practice.

  After our 4 year old Dachshund lost function in her back legs, we were referred to Vita Referrals. From the first moment we got there, we felt at ease and the staff were very friendly during a very difficult time. Rob explained everything and answered every question about the surgery with clear knowledge and experience. Our dachshund has stage 4 IVDD and is currently back home recovering. During her stay at Vita Referrals we had access to an app and received regular updates about our dog's progress from the Vet Nurses. We can still contact them now at any time with any queries to set our mind at ease. I would recommend Vita Referrals to everyone, they have been fantastic!
