  Can’t recommend these vets enough. I had a really difficult week with my kitten who suddenly got poorly out of nowhere. They were so kind, quick and proactive at helping me, getting him seen quickly and getting the help he needed. Every vet, nurse and team member I met was so wonderful to me and my little Rupert, and they were so kind and comforting when I was a bit upset and worried about how poorly he seemed. They are total pros and leave no stone unturned when it comes to looking after my cats, and are lovely people too. I love the PetsApp and the fact that I got photos and updates of my kitten when he had to be hospitalised, and the vet rang me with regular updates so I knew exactly what was going on. I felt like he was so cared for and totally trusted them with him, and am so happy to have him back on his little feet again. I never want to have to go to the vet every day for five days in a row again in an ideal world - but since I had to, I’m glad it was to Roundwood Vets!

  I am a new cat owner. I have taken 2 for a general check and spay and neuter. The staff are all knowledgeable, kind and patient with pets and owners. The environment is clean. The service and booking system is efficient. My experience has only been positive with all members of staff.

  DO NOT GO HERE! Completely Heartless and Unprofessional. We brought our cat in after he had passed away a few weeks ago, and the way we were treated during one of the most painful moments of our lives was nothing short of appalling. We were told to leave him in a room while the receptionist “discussed pricing” with us. Not a single word of compassion, no acknowledgment of our loss - just a pricing chart handed to us while we were visibly devastated. It felt cold, transactional, and completely devoid of empathy. While my boyfriend and I were standing there crying, trying to speak to a receptionist, Zara (nurse) came into the room and stood extremely close to us - so close that we could hear everything clearly. There was no real attempt at discretion. She asked the receptionist which pet it was, and instead of speaking privately, the receptionist typed the name out on the computer right in front of us. As soon as she realised, Zara reacted with visible relief and said, “what a relief… I thought it was—” referring to another pet. She then walked away without acknowledging us in any way. We were completely stunned. This all happened within feet of us, while we were actively grieving. Hearing relief expressed in that moment - simply because it wasn’t a different case - made our loss feel completely dismissed and insignificant. What makes this even worse is that she has seen our cat before. She knew us. Yet she didn’t say a single word to us, didn’t look at us, didn’t acknowledge our loss in any way. She came in purely to satisfy her own curiosity, reacted insensitively, and left. The lack of professionalism, empathy, and basic human decency is staggering. This experience made an already devastating loss so much harder to bear. Based on our experience - and seeing that others have had similar issues with Dr Saskia - we would strongly advise people to think twice before bringing their pets here. At a time when compassion should be the bare minimum, all we were shown was insensitivity and a clear focus on money over care.

  The veterinary professionals at this clinic demonstrate a high level of professionalism and attentiveness. They provided exceptional care for my dog, Nemo, and consistently kept me informed regarding his condition and the progress of his treatment. I highly recommend their vet clinic.

  I have no words for the amount of care Billy has received at the practice, and also for the amount of support we have received from all staff. Receptionist Yasmin, Doctor Eliza and Nurse Zara are just a few names on the list (not a specific order). They have helped us get Billy checked in spite of much delay of managing to get him to the clinic (Billy didn’t have a home and chip before, and any enclosed space like a cage would make him become very unhappy). All treatments have gone smoothly, and his ear is now recovering, he has also gained plenty of weight. The wonderful staff had also made sure that I didn’t leave without any questions answered, which is very reassuring as a first time cat mom. Thank you, Roundwood vets and see you soon for Billy’s surgery 🌸🌿💕
