I genuinely cannot fault this vets. I have only been registered with them for over 2 months and my dog & i unfortunately had to take a trip out of hours for an emergency vet appointment. Petra was fantastic with my dog and offered a lot of reassured to myself as she could see I was quite distressed. Thank you pool house vets!

I can now review Pool House now that our cat had made a full recovery. Came here in October with our cat who had lost the use of his rear left leg. They examined him and sent him away with some pain meds and anti-inflammatory's. A week later their wasn't any improvement so the vet (won't mention her name) said that x-rays were needed. "Apparently" the x-rays showed a broken hip/pelvis and an unusual rounding of the joint. They suggested a referral to Pride in Derby ( have used them before and are very good) So that's where we went. Within minutes of being seen at Pride the vet noticed an odd smell and instantly spotted the cause of the smell and why our cat couldn't use his rear left leg. He had a nasty infection in-between his toes which the vet at Pride explained was the probable cause of our cats problem. They took x-rays as well just to be on the safe side and sent us away with some antibiotics to treat his poorly toes. How Pool House didn't spot this is a mystery of epic proportions to say the least. The trip to Pride in Derby cost in total £1800 and could've so easily been avoided if the vet in question knew what she was doing. Obviously not happy with Pool House and we are currently going through a complaints procedure (which will most probably come to nothing) One of our dogs has since been to Pool House with a health issue, god knows what may have been missed this time by them.

Pool House Veterinary Pet Hospital was absolutely Fantastic !! Our poor Bonnie was taken ill on Saturday 18th in the early Hours, she was in so much pain, We couldn't get a vet to come to her but fortunately a found this Pet Hospital in Lichfield, this was around 3pm in the morning, they told me to bring her in which we did with the help from our son Scott and his Partner, When we arrived the Vet & Nurse was waiting for us, They got our Bonnie onto a Stretcher and took her into the examination room, She examined Bonnie and told us the Bad news which was that she had a Tumor which had burst and the blood had gone into her stomach and liver, she also was on her way out, Unfortunately we had to agree because she was in so much pain 😢 to put her to sleep. We collected her Ashes today and again what lovely staff they was with their Condolences to us and card. We would fully Recommend this Veterinary Pet Hospital in Lichfield with no doubt, once again thanks for all you have done for us 👍 kind regards Tony and Kathy Mitton xx
