I took my 3 cats in for their annual checkup and it went smoothly. Reception staff were friendly and helpful and the vet was very helpful and understanding of my needs and my cats needs and health. I'm on the pet health club which is a reasonable price and you get lots of benefits which save you a lot of money over the year.

We’ve been with Penbode for many years, and the team has never been anything short of exceptional. Their dedication shines through in everything they do, and they care for your pet almost as much as you do.

I have great confidence in Claire Davies. She is always very thorough and has a lovely caring manner. Explains everything fully which is always helpful. My dog is always keen to get in to see her which says a lot for her manner with the animals.

I have moved my dogs to penbode after having my horses with them for twenty years. I can not express enough how pleased I am with the care my dogs and myself receive. Reception is polite and efficient. Every vet I have seen has been experienced but more important to me kind. Paz has undertaken numerous laparoscopic spays for me and I will never have a dog spayed the old way again. We are not the easiest bunch to care for 🖤🤎

I have used Penbode vets for many years and have always been very happy with the service I have received. The vets, nurses and other staff are very friendly and approachable and I always feel that they have my pets interest at heart. Particular mention about Heather (vet) who I will always try to see if possible. She has been amazing with my rescue dog who is very nervous of new people. She has tried to accommodate his nervousness every time even down to allowing me sitting in a darkened room with my dog whilst he doses off after a sedative prior to an operation (he had to have several!!). Heather is very caring, helpful and approachable. They also have a specialist vet who visits Penbode for more complex / rare procedures eg anal gland removal etc. Thus is a superb service that sometimes saves a trip to referral centre. Veterinary costs are expensive, but I think all veterinary practices are probably comparable. I will be staying with Penbode.
