Gemma is incredibly talented, caring, and attentive to detail when it comes to my dog’s care. My dog has undergone two surgeries with her, and throughout both experiences, Gemma demonstrated not only exceptional skill but also genuine compassion. Her team is just as wonderful — professional, supportive, and always kind. Her follow-up care has been outstanding, ensuring my dog’s recovery was smooth and well-monitored. She takes the time to check in, explain everything clearly, and make sure both pet and owner feel reassured. I truly trust her and am so grateful for the level of care she and her team provide.

She explained everything clearly, treated Archie with compassion, and made a stressful situation feel manageable. Honestly, she was incredible. Highly recommend.
Read on Google →Amazing vets. Highly recommended. We were lucky enough to have been referred to Optivet, as an emergency referral for our little JRT, Charlie, who had developed glaucoma in his second eye (his first eye already having been removed locally only a few weeks beforehand, again because of glaucoma). Two years on, with ongoing visits and check ups by Gemma, Charlie retains some limited sight, thanks to her care and effort along with the team at Havant.
