  My cat came home after a few days and I could tell she wasn’t quite right. I called the Lighthouse who advised me to keep an eye on her but to of course call back if I was still concerned and I could bring her in. I was quite impressed that they didn’t want me to come in straight away, I feel another local emergency vet wouldn’t have hesitated to urge me to come in regardless if it was unnecessary. However later in the day I felt like she needed to be seen and called back and spoke to Will who said I was able to bring her in straight away. Despite them being busy I didn’t have to wait for long to be seen, Cameron and Ellie were brilliant and helped me understand my cat’s injuries and the best course of treatment for her going forward over the next few days. She ended up staying a few nights but I was kept in the loop with phone calls as to how she was doing. Once I was able to collect her Josie spent some time going through her (many!) different medications and what was required. I was also told I could call anytime which I did twice when I needed clarification on some of the meds. Thank you to everyone at the Lighthouse, I felt that the care Binks received was incredible and all of the staff were friendly and so helpful and have already passed your details on to local friends with pets.

  At near on midnight on Thursday evening, we had to say an unplanned goodbye to my beautiful frenchie, Reggie. The team at Lighthouse couldn’t have done any more, and they all went above and beyond. I’ll forever be grateful for everything they done for Reggie & my family in such a state of panic. The compassion shown by the whole team has been second to none ♥️. 2 days later, we received a card, lots of Reggie’s paw prints, fur & wild flower seeds to plant in his memory - which made one of the worst days ever, a little bit easier. I’m so grateful my little Reg’s last moments were in a place where everyone there cares SO much. Thank you all, especially Charlotte & Pedro who went above and beyond xxx

  I brought my cat in late Sunday night after realising he was poorly. It transpired that he had eaten some Christmas decorations. I spoke to 2 vets - a very nice man whose name I didn't get, and Magda. Both talked me through my options very carefully and gently and didn't try to push me towards a more expensive procedure. I received regular updates and on Tuesday he came home and is doing so well!! It's never easy when a pet is poorly, but I felt like we were both well looked after by the team. ❤️

  These guys are fantastic, the empathy they have is unreal! The worst day of my life was made a little more bare able because of this team! Even afterwards they sent me prints of angels paw and a beautiful card! I will cherish this forever!

  My Oscar stayed here for a night after surgery on his eye and they really did look after him. I had telephone updates on how he was and what he'd eaten and when we collected him it was clear the nurse had given him the love he needed while he was recovering from surgery. A wonderfully caring pet hospital 💕
