Thank you, Final Rest, it's taken me 7 months to write this review because I am beyond devastated I haven't been able to find the strength until now to type this without crying my eyes out! we lost our beloved dog Teddy he was the world to us. He was 14.5 years old Jack Russell cross poodle beautiful boy. Teddy passed away in our garden with me and my partner at 7.30am on 20/06/25 it was hard, but we felt it was his time to go, and he was at peace laying on the grass looking up at the sky. I had called Final rest two days before and spoke to the lovely Fern, explained that Teddy was petrified of the vets, and we thought him being put to sleep at home was the best choice for us and him. Teddy passed away 2 days later. I called Final Rest at 8am explained he had passed and Fern collected him by 12noon she put him in a blanket and very comfy bed he looked like he was just asleep, he was cremated the same day, and we received his ashes and paw print 4 days later by delivery. I would recommend Final rest service to anyone they're all so kind and caring and when I was crying my eyes out to Fern on the phone, she was amazing. I miss my boy so much thank you for making this pain a little less brutal. I'm sorry I have taken so long to write this review, Teddy was my best friend and my heart is broken. The whole team are so compassion and lovely thank you for making this a gentler farewell for us. Jacqui and David x
Read on Google →We can't thank the final rest team enough for there care and compassion towards our pets.We have used final rest four times now. This last two weeks we have lost our beloved cat Maverick and our beloved dog Billy. Sadly Maverick passed at our vets in an emergency but final rest did his cremation and kept in contact throughout and took care of our Maverick. Billy passed to rainbow bridge this week.Rachel came to the house and explained absolutely everything from start to finish. We stayed with Billy and Billy passed so peacefully in his own surroundings with his family and his best friend Toby with him. Rachel then took Billy back to final rest for a private cremation. There isn't a long wait for cremation collection like at the vets. The team at final rest are caring compassionate and to us that means absolutely everything. So thank you.xx

She passed peacefully at home and we are so grateful for your support when we were heart broken. Lexi was with us for 13 1/2 years and she had a calm passing. Thank you for making this very sad time easier for Lexi and us. Thank you also to Lauren, you were so kind on the phone and in person. A few weeks after saying goodbye to Lexi we also had to say goodbye to our amazing Gus at just over 12 years old. Ben you were with us again when gussy crossed the rainbow bridge. Thank you again for your kindness and support . You and your team provide a compassionate and unhurried service and we are truly grateful that you were there for us and treated our Lexi and Gus with love at the end x
Read on Google →What a wonderful service with kind, caring and considerate people looking after families and their very much loved pets at a really difficult time. No one wants to say good bye to their best friend but the Team at Final Rest made it a loving experience. We said goodbye to our beloved Monty on 8th December and the team at Final Rest took care of him with respect and kindness. We had originally expected Ben to come and help us send Monty on his final sleep but Monty had other plans and passed away peacefully in the early hours of the morning. Final Rest came to care for Monty after. Christine came to collect Monty and was so kind. There was no rush to say goodbye, she asked questions about Monty and included us in preparing Monty for his journey. Thoughtful touches like snuggling Monty up with a blanket and his favourite toy. Taking nose and paw prints and a thoughtful card a few days after with condolences and kind wishes. We are sad to have lost Monty after almost 12 years but have such beautiful memories of those years and his final moments 🐾 Thank you everyone at Final Rest ❤️ What wonderful people. Highly recommended.

It was one of the toughest days of our lives, but the Final Rest team helped us through it with such kindness, compassion, and respect. Sophie made my last moments with my little girl so special and peaceful. Lola was able to enjoy a treat before she drifted off, and Sophie kindly talked us through each step so we always knew what to expect. She treated Lola with such dignity and gave us the space and comfort we needed to say goodbye. For that, I’ll always be grateful. Thank you to Sophie and the team for making such a heartbreaking day a little easier and for helping us give Lola the gentle farewell she deserved. ❤️🐾
