Should be 10 stars at the very least!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ As we walked into the warm and clean reception area (where high standards never falter) We were greeted by our usual reception staff, who are always extremely welcoming, warm, professional and ALWAYS greet my fur babies, by coming round to say hi to them. I feel this is so important as they take time to get to know them and build a good rapport with owners and pets. To me, that in itself speaks volumes. Thank you Anny & Alison! To be fair, it’s normally a drama when my trio enter the building as I’m normally saved by reception, vets and nurses as my feral trio bulldoze their way out of the cage from the boot of my car and make a b-line for the road before I can put leads on them and get their paws 🐾 🐾 into the building! ………..(To be fair. that could be why MY trio are so well known!?! 🤔🤦🏼‍♀️) The vets and practice/caring nurses (We saw Kerri and Sarah today and they are both worth their weight in gold, especially as they think nothing of getting on the floor and trying to talk and cuddle the doggos into having an injection or having their nails clipped. Especially when this sometimes turns into a wrestle, with blood, sweat and tears 🤣 But they take it all in their stride and the job gets done with a smile! Poor Kerri seams to always get the brunt of out visits! We had the pleasure of meeting a new vet yesterday who was as brilliant as the others. Normally my Charley doesn’t like men, but the vet, from the off had Charley eating gravy bones out of his hand; literally!! We can’t praise EVERYONE at Okehampton and Chagford enough. They are a team and give their all, and their all is second to none! They’re all so welcoming, informative, and share their knowledge. Also, what’s reassuring for me, is that they take time to explain, when (if you’re like me) it all becomes a blur with information overload! My troublesome trio enjoy their trips to the vets - Charley LOVES the attention…….(and (maybe 🤔 the gravy bones 🦴 play a part?!!🤦🏼‍♀️🤣🤦🏼‍♀️) W!llow is ALWAYS happy because my monthly visit nearly ALWAYS results in a new squeaky toy! 🧸 And what a selection they have! (When I say ‘they’ I mean ‘Okeford Vets’, however, my husband would argue we can match their selection at home! - or even raise it……. 🤦🏼‍♀️🥴🤣) Buddy thinks when he walks his paws through the door 🐾🐾 that he’s going to see his fan club and would stay there being fussed by everyone all day! He’s like “I’ve just stopped by for MORE attention, like us show cockers should!”🤦🏼‍♀️🤣….. We can’t recommend Okeford Vets enough, they tick every box to the highest of standards and we’d never pick convenience over quality, which is why, despite a few recent moves, we remain loyal to Okeford Vets because they are THE BEST. This is thanks to everyone there at the practices. Faye, Charley, W!llow & Buddy! 🐾🐾🦴

We were referred to Okeford vets from our own vet, specifically to see Kirstin the dermatologist. We have been in safe hands and felt at ease from our very first visit- her experience and knowledge is phenomenal and we are so so grateful she has managed to fix our lovely Ozzie! Thank you so much for everything and thank you to okeford vets for being accommodating and making us feel welcome, 5* service.

We were very grateful for the amazing care our cat Edward was given, especially on his final day, when he was put to sleep. He was treated so gently and professionally and they made a super hard day more manageable, especially for my teenage daughter who was heartbroken. Thank you for taking such good care of Edward and ourselves.

Well they are amazing!! The whole team! reception are super welcoming. The nurses and vets are amazing at providing the best information while also ensuring your pet gets the best care. I moved to Exeter and still chose to make the journey to this specific vets, they have my full trust and treat my little dog Honey like their own! Amazing communication and reception are so quick to give you answers to any enquiries you may have. Honestly can’t thank them enough for what they have done for me and my little girl honey! I believe it’s Nicky on front desk who is super and Kate the vet who always puts a smile on both me and honeys face.
