Last Friday, whilst on a trip to the lakes my dog became very ill. Oakhill vets were amazing, after one phone call they got us an appointment for within the next hour and got my pup treated that same day, and got her in for a follow up appointment the next day. Each and every member of staff was amazing. We saw 3 different vets over the time Luna was in the vets and each one was incredible as well as the student nurse who had a lovely in depth chat with us about Luna’s condition. The members of staff were so comforting, funny and accommodating. Luna even dragged us back in there on day two. She was right as rain and back out walking by the evening of the second day. I just wish I could brings this veterinary practice back down south! Thank you so much to everyone at Oakhill, Windermere

I cannot fault this incredible practice. Last month, very sadly, our gorgeous dog, Bob, suddenly collapsed, unable to move. Oakhill Veterinary Group, Windermere gave us an immediate, emergency appointment. Unfortunately an ultrasound scan showed a lot of fluid around his heart. The prognosis was not good. We said goodbye to our precious boy. Every single member of the team was kind, warm, compassionate and understanding. From the initial reception team, offering carpet for Bob to lie on, to Ellie, the vet, gently guiding us through her diagnosis, to Emma, her assistant, bringing in a blanket for Bob - everyone looked after us all so well, in such a kind, very thoughtful way. Although we are absolutely heartbroken at losing our boy, we feel very lucky that Oakhill was there for us in our hour of need. The whole practice has such a warm, loving ethos that it feels like you’re being given a huge hug! Thank you, Oakhill.

The staff make the place what it is outstanding! 👍 A big thank you to Vets, Ellen & Ali for the great care & expertise they have given to Flo our dog after been hospitalised & a number of operations. We had to rush my golden retriever, Monty, in for an emergency appointment after he was stung on a walk and his muzzle and eyes became very swollen. The team saw us straight away, and Ellie, the vet who treated him, was brilliant—calm, kind, and very reassuring. Monty received quick, effective treatment and was back to his happy self in no time. Really grateful for the excellent care we received!
