  "We cannot thank the team enough for the incredible care they have given our doggo. From the moment we walk through the door, the reception staff are always so welcoming and polite. The vets and nurses are exceptionally kind, patient, and thorough; they always take the time to explain things clearly and put doggo completely at ease. It is such a comfort knowing our dog is in such safe, loving hands. We truly appreciate everything you do!"

  While we were on a break in the Lake District, our dog Thea split a dew claw and needed veterinary attention. We phoned Oakhill Veterinary Group in Windermere that morning and were offered an appointment around 2pm. We were absolutely amazed that they were then able to fit Thea in for sedation, remove the damaged dew claw and have her safely back with us by 6pm that same day. Being away from home, it was such a relief to have her seen so quickly and everything dealt with so efficiently. The whole team were incredibly caring and professional, from receptionists through to the vets and nurses. A special thank you to Matthew for looking after Thea, and a huge shout-out to Sam, who went above and beyond by tracking down our insurance policy details herself and submitting the insurance claim while I was travelling home. We honestly couldn’t have asked for better care for Thea. The speed, organisation and genuine kindness of the whole team were fantastic, especially when we were away from home. Thank you to everyone at Oakhill Windermere for looking after our girl so brilliantly. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you! 🐾💞

  What a lovely vets. Our dog Ruby is happy to go see them. It says it all to me as an animal lover. Staff are so helpful and friendly.ruby is a very large Ridgeback and goes bouncing in wanting to say hello to all the staff, she is always welcomed. Ruby had to stay overnight as she cut her foot very badly. Staff were amazing looking after her. Thank you guys. Keep up the good work.

  We can’t thank everyone at Oakhill Veterinary Group enough for everything they’ve done for our beloved Staffy, Chico. Although Oakhill has only been our vets for the last few years, the care, compassion and dedication we’ve received from every single member of the team has been exceptional. Every receptionist, nurse and vet has always treated Chico with genuine kindness, and we’ve never once felt like just another appointment. A special thank you has to go to Tina, who has gone above and beyond for Chico on so many occasions. She always takes the time to answer our emails with thoughtful advice, never makes us feel like a burden, and genuinely cares about his wellbeing. Whenever we’ve been worried, she’s helped put our minds at ease, and when finances have been difficult she’s always reassured us that Chico’s care comes first. That level of compassion is incredibly rare. What makes Oakhill stand out isn’t just their knowledge and professionalism, it’s the genuine care they show to both their patients and their owners. Every interaction has been friendly, understanding and reassuring, and it’s obvious that everyone there truly loves what they do. Finding Oakhill has been one of the best things that could have happened for Chico. We trust the whole team completely and couldn’t imagine taking our dogs anywhere else.   Last Friday, whilst on a trip to the lakes my dog became very ill. Oakhill vets were amazing, after one phone call they got us an appointment for within the next hour and got my pup treated that same day, and got her in for a follow up appointment the next day. Each and every member of staff was amazing. We saw 3 different vets over the time Luna was in the vets and each one was incredible as well as the student nurse who had a lovely in depth chat with us about Luna’s condition. The members of staff were so comforting, funny and accommodating. Luna even dragged us back in there on day two. She was right as rain and back out walking by the evening of the second day. I just wish I could brings this veterinary practice back down south! Thank you so much to everyone at Oakhill, Windermere
