I can’t thank the team at Northstar Vet (Robbinsville and then Maple Shade) for the care they gave my dog Otis after a terrible dog bite. My dog’s skin became necrotic and he had sepsis after he was treated at another vet hospital first. I truly believe that if I hadn’t taken Otis to Northstar, that he wouldn’t be with us anymore. Their facility is second to none and they had the resources there to care for him. Being able to have him stay there to be monitored was key to his recovery and most vet practices don’t have the ability to do that!

The team at NorthStar Vets have saved my dog Rella’s quality of life. After being diagnosed with IVDD, Rella was left paralyzed in her back legs. Dr. Chauvet and her incredible neurology team were able to operate on Rella and able to regain function on her legs. Dr. Chauvet was so easy to get into communication with after surgery and answered every question or concern I had. She provided with me the tools that I needed to help Rella in her first steps of recovery. Once Rella was cleared for physical therapy, the rehabilitation doctor, Dr. Litchko and her assistant Marta helped Rella be able to walk again with use of the underwater treadmill and provided us with her home exercise program that we strictly followed at home. Today, Rella is able to walk, run and play again. I cannot say enough great things about the team at Northstar Vets. Rella is the center of our world and seeing her happy and playing again means everything to us. We are forever grateful for the care she was provided by each team member. THANK YOU!

8 year old lab/husky in for lipoma and dental cleaning.... just a back story, we had a puggle who had a dental cleaning at the vet and a week later she died. Healthy and up to date on all vaccines. Yesterday was beyond nerve-wracking and I was super nervous. Dr. Curcillo removed the mass and kept in contact with me at all times. Dr. Saverino who did dental and extraction also kept me updated and neither rushed me off the phone when I was asking questions. The office staff was great check-in and check-out was good. My baby boy is home resting.

O’Neill was diagnosed with soft tissue sarcoma on his right front wrist in October 2025. We saw the surgeon on a Thursday and she removed it that Friday. O’Neill did very well recovering from the surgery and proceeded to the AKC invitationals in Orlando in December. O’Neill did very well down there with no issue with his surgery. He came home to have a CTscan and the next week three sessions of targeted radiation. He received excellent care from all who cared for him from Vet techs to surgeons to radiologist to oncologist. After the last treatment we rang the bell on our way out. It has been only a positive experience with Northstar and their staff. Because we have Trupanion as our pet insurance, Northstar was in constant contact with them and they accepted direct payment from them, which made our decisions much easier. A special shout out to Techs Ashley and Jasmine for all the love he received from them. I could smell them on him when he would come home each night, they must have been loving up on him. Thank you🐾❤️

I usually am not one to write reviews, but this review is warranted. Without the medical staff at Northstar, I wouldn’t have my cat sitting next to me right now. They truly saved my sweet boy’s life. From the second I walked into the building with my cats medical emergency, the staff wasted no time getting things in order to make sure they could do everything they could to save his life. The doctors were very transparent with me about the procedures, risks, and costs. I really appreciated the transparency so I could make the appropriate decision that was best for me and my cat. While my cat was hospitalized, I received many phone call from the surgeons and vets with updates about my kitty and how he was doing. I also was able to visit him during his stay and the nurse was incredibly kind. When he was discharged, the discharge nurse was amazing about explaining everything I had to do at home. Everyone at the front desk was so kind to me as well and were genuinely happy to see me taking my baby cat home. Thanks to this facility, my little cat Papaya still has a long life ahead of him and is able to recover from the comfort of his own home. I couldn’t be more grateful.
