I received an amazing service from Callum with my little dog Leia. Callum was thorough and took so much time to discuss her care. I really appreciated the unhurried and balanced approach. Callum put Leia at ease and was reassuring both in consultation and on discharge. He helped the enormous decisions to be made carefully and I felt reassured and confident that she was in the best hands. I’m so grateful to have had such superb care. I’m relieved Leia didn’t need the surgery but Ive learnt so much. A huge thanks to Callum and all the team and Leia did say you were her favourite. 🤩
Read on Google →Mark Lowrie, consultant neurologist, came highly recommended and I wasn’t disappointed. Mia (10.5 yr border collie) had been having episodes that baffled us and her GP vet as they presented slightly differently each time. Mark knew the questions to ask and observed Mia whilst she adjusted to a new environment. He quickly spotted a pattern in symptoms, and behaviour, and came up with a diagnostic plan to rule out things as well as, hopefully, rule something in. After a number of tests and an MRI, I left that afternoon with 2 potential diagnoses and a plan of action for our home vet to undertake to determine which it was. I felt listened to during the consultation; everything was explained clearly and costings were discussed upfront. There was no pressure to have tests beyond our means. Mark is clearly skilled around anxious dogs and I felt that, despite the blood tests and an anaesthetic, Mia was pretty chilled. Knowing my dog, this was close to a miracle! I would recommend Movement Referrals and Mark Lowrie unreservedly from our experience and am incredibly grateful for his expertise.
Read on Google →We feel so fortunate to have found Dr. Lowrie. We have a dog with a somewhat rare condition specific to his breed and Dr. Lowrie has been a huge help, always willing to answer our questions and incredibly knowledgeable. We are located in California and he has worked seamlessly with our local veterinarian to help get to the bottom of the issue. The process of scheduling and getting an appointment was easy and everyone we have encountered at the clinic has been lovely.
Read on Google →Mark was exceptional with Ted , from initial consultation to surgery was straightaway , not even waking Ted up from MRI to minimise risk from two Anaesthetics, Ted was so poorly when we took him into Mark , 24 hrs later he had had surgery and was at home recovering, the next 4 weeks were vital for Ted to make a full recovery , medication and crate rest were key , I had one to support off Mark constantly and sent him videos of Teddys progress. We are 6 months in now and Teddys has made nearly a full recovery , he has red light therapy once a month and is regaining a lot of the muscle he lost - I will be forever grateful for this clinic
Read on Google →My Chihuahua has received the most skilful and caring treatment from the whole team at Movements Referrals Uttoxeter. It began with an MRI which was done at the facility, sadly this diagnosed the need for IVDD surgery . I found it very very difficult to commit to such a big surgery.for Lulu. She is 13 years old has two discs that were calcified and weighs 2.4kg. Callum Golding the surgeon vet was very patient and non judgmental throughout. He guided my Husband and I with information and honesty so that we could come to the right decision for LuLu and the whole Family . Lulu went ahead with complex surgery with Callum Golding a Surgeon and Mark Lowrie, Specialist. We are now two weeks post op, we have had ongoing easy to access to advice should it be needed. Lulu is taking really positive steps to recovery. The fact is there is nothing whatsoever I can be negative about regarding Movements Referrals. I’m very grateful my Vet referred us. You will be in the very best of hands with these Guys . It is a state of the arts facility run by a renowned Specialist and a talented surgeon Vet who will give you total support . The Nurses are just lovely too !
