Took our dog to Morven vets today and im very impressed. Explained our dogs symptoms and the vet gave her a good examination. Dog ended up with a steroid injection and a prebiotic treatment. I was expecting a charge of around £150 - £200 but was delighted that it was well under £100. Good to see that theres vets out there looking after our pets wellbeing first, rather than lining their pockets with expensive costs. Thank you so much.

We have been with Morven Vets for nearly 40 years. At this time when Vets are receiving such a bad name, I have the opposite experience. We are on our 9th Border Collie dog, each has had it's issues, all have been looked after in a professional and caring manor by Morven Vets. Straight talking so that we make the right choice for our pets, the cost has always been reasonable. Put simply they actually care about the service they provide, and they do it very well. 20 years ago we had a nine week old pup who ate potpourri. He was rushed in, had a drip inserted & stayed 2 nights. 12 years later he had lost the use of his back legs & enjoyed a further few years racing around on wheels. We received sound advice throughout his life & we chose when to say goodbye. We even went into the surgery out of hours at Christmas one year, they are always open for emergencies. They have even taken care of a peahen with a sore eyeball & a sweet roe deer that lost a leg when she was side swiped by the car in front of us. She lived in our field for many years. I don't even remember being charged for that one. Keep doing what you are doing, it's very reassuring that you are there when one of my dafties does something stupid... again!

No nonsence factual advice. I wish all vets were like this. Reasonably priced. Really can't praise them highly enough. My vet kept telling me my dog's tumours were nothing to worry about, until one ruptured and then they said he was too old for general anaesthetic which would mean only a few weeks left. Was on holiday in Alford and they said they could operate with local and drugs to calm him and would do bloods to make sure his heart etc. were strong enough. It went like a dream and I now get to spend another year of so with my lovely boy. Thank you Sarah, Erica, and the whole team

If you unfortunately need to take your pet, this is a good place for them to go. Staff are so kind.

We have always been given the best treatment by all the staff, both my animals and myself. I have been a client of the practise for 35 years. I think that says a lot. Yesterday I had a standard pre planned appointment, with an excellent outcome. Today a very traumatic emergency, from which I left feeling so relieved, I can't express my gratitude enough.
