  Most of the time in the past it’s been a great vet. Always treated my animals whenever something comes up. This morning I’ve phoned up about getting my most senior cat looked at immediately by them as she’s in a bad condition and will most likely pass soon due to a serious respiratory issue.(I’m no vet but technology has improved a lot since the old days and with the symptoms and constant monitoring over the past week and a lot of research it’s looking like severe respiratory issues) Unfortunately I’m going through financial hardship with unemployment and had explained this to the vet. They were not interested in helping whatsoever and came across with a nonchalant attitude towards me which is concerning considering there a vet and supposed to help suffering animals. So in short don’t rely on them to help your animals in tough times as they will disregard your animals wellness over upfront expense prices! I’ve then went to another vet who is seeing to her the now. And an affordable payment plan was created After explaining my situation. I hoped to go down this route with meadows or any other alternative but they were not interested and only seen the situation as an opportunity for £££. not to save her from passing or preserve the rest of her senior life like a vet should do.

  Took my dog in to get repeat ear drops and was charged £96 +.!!!!!!! Absolutely livid. Then the vet smirked saying "Do you feel ripped off!" Both a receptionist and the practice manager said that's what the manufacturer charges. That's rubbish. Vets only pay about £10. Took a week for the vet to get back to me then he put the phone down. They should have at least told me the price upfront and the dog is still shaking her head!! Complete rip off!

  i use meadows vets for my horses and dogs and they are an amazing practice! Nothing is ever an issue, they explain everything they are doing and when ive had late night call outs they are always prompt with arrival ! Best vet practice in aberdeenshire
