  I cannot thank everyone at West Midlands Referrals enough for the exceptional care they have given our beagle, Bambi. From the very first consultation through to her recent surgery, every member of the team has been kind, compassionate and incredibly professional. When Bambi started limping again after her TPLO surgery, our worries were taken seriously, and we always felt listened to and supported. A very special thank you to Dimitru, who has been absolutely outstanding throughout Bambi’s treatment. His knowledge, skill and attention to detail are exceptional, but what really stood out was his kindness and the time he took to explain everything. He never made us feel rushed, answered every question with patience, and made sure we understood exactly what was happening and what to expect. We had complete confidence that Bambi was in the very best hands. I would also like to say a huge thank you to the reception team. Every time we called or visited, we were greeted with kindness, warmth and genuine compassion. Throughout what has been a very worrying and emotional time, they were always patient, reassuring and happy to answer our questions. We never once felt like a nuisance, despite calling on more than one occasion, and their support made a difficult experience so much easier. Leaving your dog for surgery is one of the hardest things to do, but knowing Bambi was being cared for by such an amazing team gave us enormous reassurance. She has always been treated with such love, kindness and genuine care, and that means the world to us. Thank you all for giving Bambi the very best care possible. We will always be grateful for everything you have done for her. Dimitru and the entire team have been nothing short of exceptional, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend West Midlands Referrals to anyone needing specialist orthopaedic care. Bambi is a much-loved member of our family, and knowing she received such outstanding care means more than words can express.

  We have nothing but praise for the staff at West Midlands Veterinary Referrals. Our dog is a rescue and very nervous, they were extremely caring and her operation was carried out early so that she wasn’t waiting and getting more nervous. We travelled from Peterborough following a recommendation from our neighbour, it was a very good decision and we would do it again. The pricing is very clear and they were really accommodating, they returned my calls and replied to emails very quickly, the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. I definitely recommended.

  I cannot THANK the team at WMR enough for supporting our Greyhound, Blue, following a hock fracture on Christmas Day. Without Andy, Blue could have potentially had his leg amputated. The surgery he received and all of Simon's support afterwards has been exemplary. It has been a LONG five month recovery but so so worth it! Thank you all for your hard work with him! We will be forever grateful and so will Blue!

  This is a really impressive practice. I already knew the vet I was seeing and went specifically to seek his help. That said, the practice alone is excellent. My dog usually shows signs of fear/intimidation as soon as you take her near a vets. Although she had been through a very difficult time, that was not the case here. Blankets are provided to help you make pets comfortable (there are different areas for different pets; also for nervous ones) and steps are taken to actively reduce pet anxiety. Everything is very well thought through. All staff are very helpful and supportive. Processes and prices are clearly explained. This is a place that cares about your pets. Of course treatment comes at a price (but find me anyone saying UK vets are affordable right now!) but the sense you get here is truly priceless. Genuine effort is made to treat your pet as an individual whilst providing excellent veterinary care. I cannot recommend West Midlands Veterinary Referral highly enough.

  Amazing Veterinary center. They saved my little Moona’s life . She was admitted to their care from an emergency oncall vet. We were informed she would require an amputation of leg and removal of one of her eyes following a suspected RTA. Everyone cared for her amazingly. I was given regular updates of her progress. They even managed to save her leg. She’s come home and is recovering well with the help of a very detailed and clear post op recovery discharge package. Very reasonably priced. All staff were very caring and professional. A lovely lovely place . Moona and myself are very grateful ♥️thankyou xxx
