We were traveling over the weekend when our friend’s dog became unwell due to the heatwave. Concerned, we called Lakeland Vets, and even though they were officially closed, they kindly came out to help. They examined and cared for our pup with such compassion, and thanks to them, he recovered quickly. We’re incredibly grateful for their prompt and dedicated service.

Our dog had immense weakness due to the heat wave this weekend. Our usual vet is in Dublin, but we called Lakeland and they were able to help us out. It was a weekend, and game day too! They passed on our info to the vet, who was incredibly kind to drive down to the hospital, and take a look at our pup. He recovered very quickly from the heat, and immediately loved both the vets for helping him recover. The vets took very good care of him, and he enjoyed his visit, even though it was a scary one for us, Lakeland really made us feel safer and our pup left very very happy.

Not happy, when I rang this morning stating my very old dog is in bad pain and I need pain killers for him. Most likely his back got injured when the other dog jumped on top of him by accident. I got offered a next day appointment at 11 am!! I rang another veterinary clinic close by and got told I can come straight in. He got pain killers and an injection and was pain-free about an hour later. Last time I actually was with my dog in Lakeland veterinary 's he was recognized by the staff as the dog that's afraid of banging doors. Yes, my dog was terrified of the constant banging of doors the visit before. As a pet centered environment you would expect that a visit would be organized to be for the client as stress free as possible. And the banging of doors is problem that easily can get solved. Lakeland Veterinary 's would be my closest vets but from now on I rather travel a few extra miles.

This is a gem of a find for us as animal lovers. The vets and reception staff are so professional and caring to our dogs. We received amazing support from everyone in lakeland Vets when our dogs were sick and the care our dogs received was first class. Great value for money not expensive for all they did. The vets even did home visits when we were unable to attend the surgery with the dogs. So caring and giving of their support and time. We will always be so greatfull for their kindness. We would recommend lakeland Vets to everyone. First class service and so professional.
