I CANT THANK THIS VETS ENOUGH! after being completely let down by insurance my cat needed surgery and this vets completely saved her! They care about the animal more than the money which is so rare to find these days! Massive thank you to kellie and the amazing team!

The 2 stars are for the vets as they are excellent. The blanked out stars are for the way it's being managed. It's appalling. I was told to bring my cat on Friday evening as we thought his rib was protruding. It was 6.40pm and I was told to get there by 7pm. I had a call at 6.50pm telling me not to come as they were closing! The receptionist wouldn't even book me in for the next morning as 'the computer said no'. I then get a vm on Monday saying they are worried about my cart after seeing him in on Friday??? I am seriously looking at other options now. If it wasn't for the actual vets I would have left ages ago.

We left the practice is August 2022 and Joel Vets started chasing us for £58.52 supposed debt from March 2025. Almost 3 years later. Apparently we used some services which we had to pay for since the healthy pet club was cancelled when we left the practice. It’s almost impossible to go back and check our records and when we did request information relating to the appointments it’s still not clear what the various charges on the invoices were for. We’ve been left in a position where we had no choice but to pay because they were threatening to move forward with a debt collection process which could affect our credit history at a time we’re remortgaging. It would have been helpful to have been notified of any discrepancies at the time we left the practice but chasing us after nearly 3 years not only leaves a sour taste but just shows why we left in the fist place. The practice also failed to answer emails and instead sent another notice. I had to chase them to get them to finally respond, only to be told they’ll be moving forward with debt collection if we did not pay.

Really unhappy with the service I have received from Joel st vets the last few times. I have always used them for many years and always found them to be amazing, apart from the last two occasions. I called to confirm a price before proceeding with treatment for my dog and twice I have been misquoted. Called to confirm the price before my appointment as last time I was met with an unexpectedly higher amount than previous quoted on the phone. This time I made sure I confirmed the price before my appointment. Was told by the receptionist she would call me back to confirm the price. 3 days later and still no call, so I call back to be advised again she would need to check and call me back. This time I get a call to confirm the full amount for all treatment plus the consultation. Then today before treatment is carried out I wanted to double check it’s the same amount and unbelievably they have misquoted me again! I had the leave without treatment yet again. What an absolute shambles and terrible customer service. Now my pet has to wait to be seen by a different vet who are quoting a much more reasonable price and putting it in writing. Very disappointed after using Joel street vets for over 8 years.

Very helpful staff. Never had any issues with them they take their job very seriously, I always get some advice regarding my pet. If you drive there is parking outside of the clinic. It is close to Northwood hill station, and 282 bus stop is just opposite of the clinic.
