I’ve been a Member of Ivybank 5 years, never an issue with any other branch. Front desk staff are great. On the morning of my 09:45 appointment I was subject to fraudulent activity and subsequently my bank cards frozen/cancelled on the way to west Kilbride practice from Beith. I explained the situation to the front desk when I arrived who expressed empathy at my predicament. As I was sat in the waiting room with other customers a phone call was made from a vet who must have overheard, to the receptionist, to pass a message to me that i could not receive my dogs vaccination/health check unless I paid today. This is a veterinary, that have literally received thousands of pounds from me over the years with no questions asked that are now happy to see me walk out a practice and back to Beith embarrassed over £80 through no fault of my own. I reiterated I could phone my bank to authorise a bank transfer but would need the practice account and sort code but this apparently was not an option. I’m the kind of person to accommodate people where I can, so personally I didn’t think I was asking much to be able to pay via the website once my new card was activated to my online account in 24hours time. Very unhappy customer.

I am very happy with Ivybank Vets in West Kilbride, warm and friendly environment and always make you feel welcome. Know your pet's name as soon as you walk in and the vets are very good at listening. Judy always has a lovely smile on her face and deals with everything very efficiently.

I really liked all the staff at this vets. I was there for the first time and was made welcome. The vet was familiar with all the notes from my previous vet and I was very happy with how she looked after my dog Buddy.
