A truly outstanding vet practice, headed by James, who sets the very high standards that are clear to see. Everything is about what is best for your pet - not maximising profit for the practice. James really cares and has helped us through some really tough times.

Love this vets we had been on their waiting list a year, I feel these vets are all about the animal (not money) no mention of “how are you paying for this” as you step in the door…. Love the fact they do preventative surgery which we had on our Dobie and no flea/wormer constantly asked to buy so not overloading my dog with chemicals they do a poop sample I can take in! Amazing !.. lovely staff and vets we have seen James and Emma and both equally as attentive ..yes I am one of those over cautious owners🤦‍♀️ Mekah says thank you!

I cannot thank everyone at Goostrey Lane Vets enough for the exceptional care they gave my dog, Mylo. Mylo recently underwent surgery to remove a very large mass from his spleen, and from the very beginning the entire team was compassionate, professional, and incredibly reassuring during what was a very stressful time for us. A special thank you goes to James, who is an absolutely incredible veterinary surgeon. His skill, knowledge, confidence, and genuine care gave us complete trust that Mylo was in the very best hands. The surgery was a huge success, and seeing Mylo recovering so well is something I will always be grateful for. Everyone at the practice treated Mylo with kindness and kept us informed throughout the process, making a difficult experience so much easier. If you’re looking for a veterinary practice that truly cares about both its patients and their owners, I cannot recommend Goostrey Lane Vets highly enough. Thank you for giving Mylo the chance to enjoy many more happy days with us. We will never forget what you have done for our family.

What can I say, they are the best!!! James and his dedicated team are absolutely brilliant! Their holistic way of healing pets is so rare nowadays, for them our pets’ wellbeing always comes first as opposed to many other vet clinics’ practices. I highly recommend James and his team, thank you so much for all your care and support in the past, present and future.

Highly recommended. James has been looking after my animals (dogs and cats) for 19 years from birth to old age. I wouldn't change vet for anything. The team are very friendly and client focussed. Animal welfare is top priority. You get neither the "commercial" approach so many umbrella owned practices have adopted nowadays in relation to pet care nor the inflated fees. You get proper, thorough care and support and grounded advice from people who genuinely value you and your furry family members. The practice is considerate enough to also offer home visits, should that be preferable. I am so grateful for this service. Some of Goostrey Lane Vets' biggest fans pictured below.
