  The PDSA Gateshead are fantastic, I recieved treatment multiple times in 2024 for emergencies and i relied on them heavily today, they staff I spoke to were friendly and polite, it was a comfortable atmosphere. The vet was great despite my dogs reaction to being assessed. My mind was put to rest and I appreciate them more than they’ll ever know. My dog is my baby 💙

  Had my Mam’s dog in for dental work, she is a very scared and nervous rescue, the staff were so good with her, from the initial consultation appointment to her treatment today, the staff explained everything, the cost was very good and nothing hidden or unexpected, but it was the staff that really made it all easier and given how busy they are we really appreciated that they took their time and put no pressure on the dog to help ease any fears or panic, they let her take her time to come in to the room talked calmly with her just cared for her. Thank you and I would recommend to anyone!

  I took my Bella in to vets now out of hours because she had a pup stuck. They went above and beyond to save my girls life, if I hadn't have taken her when I did her uterus would have ruptured and I would have lost her. I'm devastated that the pup unfortunately couldn't be saved but I will be forever grateful to all of the team who were involved in the care of my Bella. Thank you so much.

  A word of advise PDSA - don't take on new patients if you clearly can't accommodate them.... Getting in touch with a human is impossible, appointments take about a week, waiting room times are ridiculous, waiting for medication takes forever - you need to literally block out a full day for an appointment. My advice to anyone thinking of joining, just don't bother! Pay a premium and get a better service......
