  Had a very positive experience every time I have used this vet practice for various animals. The reception staff are extremely welcoming and friendly. The vets that we have seen have also been friendly, informative and very good at their jobs! The prices are extremely reasonable and I like the fact that there is a price list on the wall. I would highly recommend using this vetinary surgery to everyone I know with animals.

  We recently changed to Fairfield House Vets in Uckfield due to our existing vet retiring. Fairfield House is located at the southern end of Uckfield and is very easy to find. There is parking, however, I imagine this can get full up quite quickly. Our appointment was at 10am on a weekday and we were able to park. Joining the practice was simple - a phone call followed by a couple of emails and we were done. I just had to request the old vet send our dog's records across. Booking an appointment was also simple, with plenty of spaces available. The change coincided with our 2 dogs regular annual jabs. The waiting room is fairly spacious - there is no separate area for specific animals so dogs and cats can be together. It's a converted victorian house so no air con (we went during the heatwave), but it was not unpleasant. It did not smell of animals and was clean. The actual vet appointment was very good. The vet was a lovely young woman who was knowledgeable, kind, and took the time to make our little nervy terrier feel less anxious. The only issue was as it was our first visit the appointment should have been booked a bit longer to give the vet the time to discuss the two dogs and treat them. That being said it did not feel rushed. There is a clear price list at reception that sets out the most common examinations and treatments. I am very happy about having made the decision to choose Fairfield House. Choosing a vet is incredibly important and building trust takes time. On the basis of this first visit, I think we made the right decision.

  As a family we've been going to Fairfield house since 1970, so 56 years and counting. Circumstances led to a brief excursion to a different local vets (as my 3yr cocker had always been there with previous owner), before returning to Fairfield today. Delighted to be back: friendly, professional, sensible, caring and very fair in all regards. Once again, just faultless and I feel so relieved to be back in safe hands again.

  We have had 26 years of amazing service from Fairfield House. Recently we had to have our elderly dog out to sleep there and it was the most peaceful, gentle experience. Something i had been dreading was actually handled in an extremely caring way for our dog and ourselves.
