I have been treated shabbily by most of whom I’ve come into contact with at this PDSA hospital. When asking clarifying questions I get exasperation. When trying to think through what the options are, I get belittled and passive aggressive manipulation. When I misunderstand something, the condescension and passive aggressive guilt is laid on heavy and thick. When expressing frustration at mixed messaging, conflicting answers and unclear statements, I get called rude and a liar, threatened, and told I had no right to “criticize”. When I call these things into question, I get frowned at and avoidance or outright hostility. Never mind being constantly talked over and interrupted while trying to explain, clarify, ask questions, or just think through what they are saying. Their people skills are seriously questionable. Which negates any care they may give. Which itself is questionable when you get conflicting answers and unwillingness to actually move on a pet’s condition. They tend to jump to the least effort option regardless if it the right one. Trying to take care of my cat, and they made it harder. They may be a charity, and they are insistent at reminding you as such, but there’s a no charity in the way that they have interacted with me. Nothing but a horrible experience.

Can't thank the vet team enough. I found something wrong with my cat, and they acted so quick to resolve the problem, sadly my cat had to have surgery but the team done the best thing for her ❤️ She has been quite the thing since being home and seems to be more of herself. Again thank you all 🙏 xx

    • Friendly staff. The vet was really nice even though our dog refused to let her examine him. She watched his movements as he objected and was at least 95% sure he hadn't broken anything. She prescribed anti inflammation and pain killer medicine and advice on how to care for him in the meantime. He is now on day 4 of 10 and is already greatly improved. He wouldn't be this good if he'd broken anything so I'm glad I trusted her judgement.
