I contacted the clinic with concerns that my cat may have been exposed to lilies. Initially, I was told there was no availability, but later I received a call back and was offered an appointment, which I appreciated. However, once I arrived with my cat, I was surprised that no one asked for detailed information about what had happened, how much exposure there may have been, or how my cat was behaving at the time. There were no clinical questions about symptoms, appetite, vomiting, or general condition. Instead, I was presented with an estimate of approximately £700 and informed that treatment would only begin after payment. At that time, my cat was showing no signs of illness or deterioration. Given the absence of symptoms and the lack of assessment or discussion, I decided to take him home and seek alternative advice. While monitoring him closely afterwards, he continued to show no signs of illness, and it now appears that this was likely a false alarm. Had I agreed immediately to the proposed treatment, my cat would have undergone invasive procedures and hospitalisation unnecessarily. I fully understand that lily exposure in cats can be serious and that clinics must act with caution. I also believe that the clinic likely helps many animals in genuine emergency situations, and I respect the work that veterinary teams do in critical cases. This is not a personal criticism of any individual staff member, but rather feedback about the overall approach and communication I experienced. However, I left feeling uncomfortable and somewhat misled, as the focus seemed to move very quickly towards a costly treatment plan rather than towards a careful clinical evaluation of my cat’s actual condition. I had expected a thorough medical discussion before being asked to commit to such a significant financial expense, and unfortunately this experience affected my trust. I am sharing this not to discredit the clinic’s work, but to provide a fuller picture of my personal experience so that others can make informed decisions.

The worst vets I have ever known and I've had dogs all my life! Important surgery cancelled twice, so nearly a year on still need my dog spaying. Changed dates they needed to see her lots of times & kept changing wrongly. Only using locum vets. Other appointments altered too. The only positive thing I can say is the reception staff are friendly

This review feels about 2 months coming but I want to say a massive thank you to Paris, Becs, Liv, Jess and Megan for their respectful and professional treatment of my little (newly diagnosed) diabetic cat Lola. A very unexpected diagnosis threw me into stress, sadness and uncertainty a month ago. Paris' no nonsense, upfront approach allowed me to act quickly and get Lola on the route to stabilisation following the gold-standard she recommends. Bec's knowledge and empathy add into to the reassurance that they know best and will not just tell me what to do, but also work with me if something doesn't feel right. Whilst Lola is now greeted with the familiar 'Hola Lola' from Jess, I'm also being armed with more and more helpful information from Liv. This team is a well-oiled machine of incredible women and I am lucky to have them as my vet team for me and my girls :)
