Thank you Rob and team for your excellent and very skilled care of our working cocker spaniel Bramble. We feel you all took great care of him during a series of operations. He is on to the road to recovery now and we are so grateful. Mike and Margaret

Coast Vets were excellent from start to finish. Eddie, our Jack Russell, ruptured both cruciate ligaments in the space of 19 months. Both operations were a great success and the level of care was second to none. Great communication, expectations managed, competitive pricing, and a genuinely caring team — Eddie is usually nervous at the vets but was very relaxed during both stays. I honestly cannot praise Rob and team enough. Superb! Highly recommend.

Wow! How refreshing to go to a vet practice where the whole team are so engaged, helpful, efficient and kind. Our consultation with Rob about our beautiful labrador Poppy was thorough, detailed, thoughtful and sensitive. We got no sense of being rushed or being pushed towards heavy interventionist approaches. From the initial phone call to the consultation itself we felt well looked after by a team who really care and who are experts in their field. Poppy liked them all very much. She did lick Rob quite a lot, but he seemed ok with that! Thank you all so much. We feel like we are in safe hands now.

Just wanted to say a huge 'thank you' to Rob and his fabulous team who from the first day I met them for Hallie's initial consultation to 6 weeks later when we returned for her 6 week post op check up, were all amazing. I was so worried about how to get Hallie 'fixed' and how everything would work out, but I was given a full, clear explanation and most of all re-assurance that she would be fixed and soon 'back to normal'. Throughout the whole process everyone was supportive, kind and compassionate and most of all Hallie was always wagging her tail. I would highly recommend Coast Veterinary Referrals with the reassurance that you and your furry friend will be fully looked after should you ever require their services.

Only put 1 star as this was the lowest option…!! Absolutely awful experience my 5 month old puppy went in and was diagnosed with hip dysphasia was rushed into surgery the following week as rob (the vet) stressed we only had a very short time frame to do the surgery due to his age… well this is where the nightmare started the vet cut his pelvis in the wrong place and wasn’t able to do the surgery that he needed so urgently which put this back a minimum of 6 weeks….!! The vet then went off sick with covid the very next day so in my opinion was he even well enough to do this surgery? And is this why this mistake was made?! Then 2 weeks later my poor baby became very agitated and stressed being crated all day and night and still not even to have had the surgery that had been stressed he needed so urgently and was 6 weeks back than when we even first went and got the diagnosis!! which ended up in him having to be put to sleep 💔 leaving a huge whole in our hearts and our family 2 heartbroken little boys who have lost their best friend…. The vet Rob then didn’t take any responsibility for his negligence and just come with A-LOT of excuses when this should never have happened and if he wasn’t well enough to do the surgery then should have rearranged and I feel if that had happened my baby would still be here now full of life…..!! Would not recommend these vets at all and don’t feel like they have the best interest of any animal and we as a family have learnt the hard way….!!
