  Our 12 year old greyhound recently underwent dental extractions at Cariad. The post-op situation was somewhat challenging, however Mark Riggs resolved the issues in a measured and exemplary manner. Over the next fortnight, the post-op consultations were relatively frequent and free of charge. I had not before come across a veterinary practice that conducts preliminary dental assessments at no cost. Over the course of the surgery and follow-ups I met all three vets. Mark, Lisa and Graham were ever welcoming and during our discussions it became abundantly clear that they are dedicated professionals whom are not driven by achieving an optimal profit for the business. I also found that prices quoted on their website reflected what I eventually paid. This, of course, did not include any additional medications that were required. Each of the reception staff and veterinary nurses that I met were helpful and obliging. Cariad is an INDEPENDENTLY owned practice that I wholeheartedly recommend.

  Moving to Cariad Vets was one of the best decisions we made for our pets. The team is incredibly caring, professional, and always put the wellbeing of your animals first. They are very knowledgeable and always take the time to explain everything clearly, which is so reassuring as a pet owner. During difficult times when a pet is unwell, they show genuine empathy and compassion, which means a lot. I would highly recommend Cariad Vets to anyone who wants the very best care for their animals.

  I would like to say a BIG thank you to Graham, vet at CARIAD VETS GORSEINON. Knowing my little shitsu will need lifelong care and medication is a lot to take in, but your compassion and care has made such a difference. I'm deeply grateful for your help this week, and also to the staff at the surgery, for their kindness during a sad time before christmas with my other fur baby. L. Rowe June 2017

  On Thursday last week 11th April Henry went into Cariad Vets to have a castration, as soon as we went in through the door Katie the receptionist got up and came to make a fuss of Henry and put him at ease immediately, she was so helpful and friendly. I was called into a treatment room and spoke to the veterinary nurse who explained exactly what Henry was going to have done. She also made a fuss of Henry and he went off quite happily with her which made me feel at ease. The operation went smoothly and as soon as he was conscious Katie sent me some pics of him which we thought was such a lovely thing to do to put our minds at ease. I went to pick him up later that afternoon where I met the vet and she spoke about his aftercare. Henry's been back for a checkup this morning where we had the same caring treatment from all the staff. I would definitely highly recommend Cariad Vets at Gorseinon to friends and family. They were all amazing Thank you all Henry and family xx

  Our go to vets. We have two French bulldogs and Cariad look after them both. From assist the older dog with his spinal issues to helping our younger one recently with horners syndrome. Was seen today by the vet Mark. Absolutely thorough and excellent. The receptionists, nurses and vets have all been superb with both our dogs. Well trusted and highly recommended.
