Always a welcome looked after our animals great service
Read on Google →Calcaria are definitely the best vets we have used by far. We have 2 cats, Mia and Poppy, both of whom aren't massive fans of vet trips but each vet is lovely and caring with both of them. Sadly, 2 months ago in August, we had to make the decision to put Mia to sleep after being very poorly with tumours. The lovely vet was fantastic. She was very clear and informative on the full process, ensuring that we knew what would happen. She showed so much respect and compassion in one of the most hardest of times for us. She was so gentle and caring towards Mia, whilst being so reassuring. At that appointment, the receptionist was lovely too and I cannot praise both of them enough for being so kind and compassionate at that time. We later recieved a sympathy card via post which was such a lovely heartfelt touch They are also amazing with Poppy whenever she needs to see the vet. We can really find no fault in them. Each staff member is a testament to the practice. We cannot recommend them highly enough and will continue to use them for Poppy They are simply the best
Read on Google →I have been with this company for almost ten years now with my 3 Cats, when this August, probably a new receptionist, took a while to understand my Suriname or find my cat profile with name or address. This is when the manager took the call, without introduction, and told me off to keep the receptionist on the telephone gave me an appointment with the rudest tone and all of suddenly put the telephone back to me. I call back after 1h (to give myself time to cool down) looking for apologies but they were happy for me to leave them as vet. They told me that they would send my cat info via e-mail. Still didn't receive anything. The vets are great, the administrative are awful. Please consider your customers or you will loose them out of the redness of your team.
Read on Google →Spent thousands on my dogs ears which they never fixed and after multiple appointments asked me to find another vet. The staff, in particular the general manager is the rudest person i've ever spoke to. I have managed to find better advice through other people who have french bulldogs and cured his issues myself. Would not recommend!
Read on Google →Very unimpressed with the vet's manner. Took my 2 kittens in for neutering and had to argue the point with him for 10 minutes about why I was choosing not to microchip my indoor cats that day. No reflection on the female members of staff whatsoever, who I know from the York practice and are always extremely pleasant and helpful. The vet on the other hand needs to work on his people skills or remain in the back room. I won't be returning.
