New into the area and needed a vet for our cat. We had our first visit today and needed a prescription for an ongoing issue he has. What a lovely vet, very down to earth and sensible. The receptionist was warm and welcoming as well. Im so pleased we chose Calcaria as our chosen vets.

Been with this vets for 10 years plus with 2 cats. Also have 2 dogs which I moved to Parkhill vets as Calcaria could not accommodate a surgery date I needed for one of my dogs. Receptionist was horrifically rude to me on phone today. Don’t email them - apparently it just goes into junk! Their communication methods are dated as is their customer service skills. Highly recommend Parkhill where all 4 of my animals are now registered with.

Lovely friendly staff. Our pooch has met all the vets now, no faults at all and communication across the team is brilliant.

Calcaria are definitely the best vets we have used by far. We have 2 cats, Mia and Poppy, both of whom aren't massive fans of vet trips but each vet is lovely and caring with both of them. Sadly, 2 months ago in August, we had to make the decision to put Mia to sleep after being very poorly with tumours. The lovely vet was fantastic. She was very clear and informative on the full process, ensuring that we knew what would happen. She showed so much respect and compassion in one of the most hardest of times for us. She was so gentle and caring towards Mia, whilst being so reassuring. At that appointment, the receptionist was lovely too and I cannot praise both of them enough for being so kind and compassionate at that time. We later recieved a sympathy card via post which was such a lovely heartfelt touch They are also amazing with Poppy whenever she needs to see the vet. We can really find no fault in them. Each staff member is a testament to the practice. We cannot recommend them highly enough and will continue to use them for Poppy They are simply the best
