Having been with this vet for near on 40 years, I find that my patience's has finally expired. Not only do they charge highly inflated prices for medication that can be purchase elsewhere for a fraction of the cost, but now the service is in decline. Speaking with the receptionist, I ordered medication and during this conversation agreed to collect the following day. That day came and I was told it would take three days to get "flea" prevention, something you can easily pick up at Pets at Home for example. I had driven 10 miles, yet that same receptionist had zero empathy. I can't help feel that the once nice small friendly practice who are now "group" owned has vanished into oblivion. No longer friendly staff as they all appear stressed out and understaffed. Yet when I write explaining matters, no reply other than to send me my dogs medical history. Yep, They are no longer my trusted vets, after near on 40 years, Iv gone elsewhere.

I highly recommend this veterinary practice who recently handled a very stressful experience with our dog who needed emergency surgery, treatment and follow up care for 4 days. This occured over a weekend which required not only an excellent response from this practice, but also careful coordination with a veterinary hospital. All staff involved were excellent - professional, compassionate and sensitive to the needs of our dog, and us. Our dog has made a full recovery and we cannot thank them enough.

I only had good and very good experiences at this vet surgery and would gladly recommend. Nurses are very patient and one can literally see it is their vocation to be there. Waiting times minimal, good pet health plan and they do always suggest more affordable alternatives for any of their extra products. Hope it lives long and prosper! :-)

It's taken a few weeks for me to write this after the painful loss of our family dog. But on his passing the vet Clare was magnificent with the managing of him. She made his last moments before crossing the Rainbow bridge, the best it could have been. Thank you Clare and all the team for all the love and care you showed him and us.

This veterinary practice was a disappointing experience. They seemed more focused on profit than on genuinely caring for animals. I was charged hundreds of pounds for unnecessary blood tests, procedures, and medications that only worsened my cat’s condition. In the end, my cat was simply stressed and anxious. He improved only after I stopped the prescribed medication, changed his food and litter, and gave him a calm environment. I have since left this practice and would not recommend it.
