Each time I contact or attend the practice regarding my unwell cat, I am met with rudeness, dismissive behaviour, and a complete lack of empathy. Calling about a poorly animal is already distressing, yet your receptionists consistently escalate the situation by being abrupt, cutting me off, and speaking to me in an unacceptable manner. On multiple occasions, I have requested to speak to a manager. I was challenged with “why,” interrupted, and then cut off entirely. This is not a one-off incident, it has happened too many times to ignore. Reception staff are the face of your company. Their behaviour directly affects clients, your reputation, and the trust people place in your practice during very vulnerable moments. Instead of offering support, their conduct has left me feeling disregarded, upset, and angry. If I am not contacted regarding this matter, I will take this further. I have already begun referring my paying family and friends away from your practice to a more respectful and professional veterinary service. Continued rudeness will only result in lost clients and damaging reviews. I expect this complaint to be taken seriously and addressed appropriately

GOD AWFUL AVOID IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR PETS!! Useless vets 0 knowledge. Brought my dog in for a checkup for quite an serous suspicion of an underlying issue. To be told she was fine… I took her to a paid vet the next day as I didn’t trust the opinion, for the the new vet to tell my my dog has a hernia!???! HOW ON EARTH did you miss this? When every single symptom was shown… replacement vet even said that is ridiculous to have missed…, just want to charge you for painkillers to make their money back 🤦‍♂️ AND Audacity of reception… Hold times a ridiculous for an “emergency” appointment. Been on the phone waiting 35+ mins already. They advocate donations are not mandatory and if you’re on low income you get free/ low cost treatment. Yet they publicly out you the moment you walk through the door announcing to the room “We would request a donation of £20-£25 to keep us in business” When I said I was unable it was then said “oh okay just try and have something next time” ??? Excuse me? If I was paying fees for the vet do you think I’d be coming here? No. I’m here because of no choice on income. So badgering me for money will get you nowhere… Sick to the back teeth of the automated speaker.. why make it so your program is waffling in my ear the whole time on repeat until you answer… beyond annoying. Just let the phone ring so I can tell when someone answers… Finally got through at 5pm after being on hold the best part of an hour now, for them to tell me no emergency appointments are available and to call back in the morning.. put me on hold then passed me to a more rude/abrupt worker. They came on the phone abruptly and said “yep no appointments call tomorrow at 9” Kept talking over me whenever I tried to speak or explain anything like she was in a rush to get to her car and drive home at the same time. No sense of emergency or compassion at all. Asked if my pet could be booked in for a future date asap was told no. I also told them this problem had been underlying for about a week whilst I had been getting registered with a local vet and the problems need to be seen to asap due to the severity of my pet’s side affects, (possibly fatal if left) There was 0 urgency at all. No attempt to try and accommodate for urgency or compassion just a typical robot “computer says no” and shockingly the reply was (well they’ve already had this problem a week or so as you say so they’ll live) then becoming dismissive. So just because my pet hasn’t died yet from an underlying problem. It automatically means they will be okay to keep waiting? Should my pets condition become fatal due to the vet refusing to see them I will be taking it to the fullest extent of the law and seeking to have the matter dealt with in court for cost of future treatment & or: -Breach of duty -Duty of care -Causation & damage

The most incredible staff they was so helpful and calm and delicate in time which was very distressing for our whole family Elenor on both days was incredible the tone of her voice, her body language was the one thing helping us through this horrific two day with our cat tinkerbell who we had to say our goodbyes to when we asked for a second option she did not get offended and got that straight away and talked us through every step and option. We will never forget that day and our beloved Tinkerbell thank you to the kindest person who helped us through that day. The reception staff was also incredible and kind. Thankyou to this pdsa team 🤍

Would give 0 stars if I could. This place completely neglected and abused my cat with no compassion whatsoever. My mom came home with our cat today after a neutering surgery which was completely UNNECESSARY. The “vet” last time we visited told us she felt a womb on our cat yet no pregnancy. Yet when she came today for her neutering my mum was told our cat had been operated on to find she had no womb so what did this inexperienced ameteur feel when she was claiming to feel a womb? (We took our cat on as she was a stray and we instantly loved her, she was a kitten when we found her) so we were unsure whether she had been done before or maybe has been born without. This surgery was unnecessary and has completely traumatised my cat and even me and my mom. Look at the mess they have left on her, if I hadn’t have been unavailable due to college to be present when dropping & picking our cat up I’d have gone absolutely nuts with them. I am absolutely appalled and will NEVER EVER be sending my cat back here again and wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy! The staff here are very rude & haven’t got a clue on how to deal with animals either.
