  • After losing our last dog Georgie to Cancer in 2023 and the experience we had with our last vet (or cash cow as they were), I was very nervous about bringing home a new pupster and having to find a new vet. I looked very hard into finding the right one, particularly that they are a local business and not part of a massive chain conglomerate more interested in money than they are caring properly for my baby dog. I was recommended Beacon View and so glad we chose to partner with them. And I do see it as a partnership in looking after our puppy cockapoo, Barney. From the first visit, they were so knowledgeable and professional whilst also being super friendly and welcoming. Claire and particularly Sarah really made a big difference in a short time. Barney loves going to see his fans ☺️ and now he is over his stomach issue with the right diagnosis and medication, he is turning into a loving happy dog we knew he could be. He even instigates sofa snuggles! The best positive for me is knowing that Barney is in the club, I don’t have to worry about asking for help and getting advice all inclusive. Barney and I cannot recommend Beacon View highly enough and suggest if you are in any way unhappy with your current vet, give them a try.

I genuinely can’t believe this place exists! The staff here are unbelievably kind, supportive, knowledgable and just genuinely incredible people. Exactly the people who should be working with people and animals. I had a bad experience at another vets, so was just trying to find somewhere that was ‘good’. Beacons View surpassed all expectations and I’m so thankful to have found them. We are new pet owners, and they have gone above and beyond to guide us through what we need to for do for our boy. The complete care club they offer is fantastic value for money, and gives peace of mind that the basics are covered. We have a cat and absolutely love the dedicated waiting room they have created (pics attached). I’m certain these guys are the best vets in the area/county/country/world, and I couldnt recommend them more.

  • I have recently had the best experience from a vets with Beacon View. I made an enquiry with Claire with regard to my dog’s teeth and her reply went above and beyond what I expected. My 11 year old dog has now has two dental ops and I couldn’t be happier with the service everyone has provided. The care all round especially from Claire and the nursing team has been excellent and they have given so much care to Alfie, especially as he had not been to the practice before. A shout out to the excellent front office team too, as they have all been so welcoming and helpful I have now moved my dog to Beacon View and would highly recommend them!! Alfie is looking forward to his next visit 🐾

We moved to Beacon View a year ago after a very upsetting series of mistakes at another practice. Sadly, my dog Shelley did die, but the care she received in her final weeks at Beacon View made an enormous difference. She was genuinely looked after, and I felt supported through the whole experience. I still have two elderly dogs, Mr Woo and Eryk, and after having eight dogs and fosters over 20 years and using most of the local vets, I can honestly say Beacon View is the best practice we’ve ever been to. They are not more expensive than other vets, in fact, they often resolve issues faster, which makes their care more cost effective. They are completely transparent with pricing: everything is broken down clearly, they tell you costs upfront before any decisions are made, and they email the full price breakdown after each visit. They even have their price list available on their website. Every member of staff is genuinely lovely. The consultations are longer and never feel rushed. The vets come down to floor level, which puts the animals at ease, and the rooms are comfortable with sofas. The waiting area is calm, with a separate cat section, which makes a big difference. The care, professionalism, and environment at Beacon View are far superior to any other vets we’ve used locally. I wouldn’t take my dogs anywhere else.

We've been with Beacon View Vets for a few years now. I can honestly say they have been superb over all that time, in good times and bad. The staff are so lovely and genuinely care. Unfortunately my dog Dotty has been unwell recently, but she received wonderful emergency care, quick and thorough investigations, and the vets clearly communicated Dotty's issues. I Would not hesitate to recommend.
