Bay Vet Teignmouth have been excellent with my animals. All the staff are caring, kind, and efficient and are prepared to go the extra mile to make the vet experience a good one for all concerned. Georgina went out of her way to assist with an issue with logistics, and everyone I have dealt with has been a credit to the practice.

Went to Teignmouth branch and got a quick appointment, due to nice lady called Cloe. However, on seeing Mr Carr ie vet of 30yrs, my cat had long term diarrhea and seeking specific analysis on that, I was met with someone who has no regard for dealing with gastroenteric diets or the such and we agreed a blood sample, all in at cost of nearly £400. Gives general picture of health, Carr thought might be linked to hyperthyroidism, after his examination, but blood tests were fine. Next step was another £500 payment for a ultra scan so they can perhaps find issue, but that would not be conclusive as further "investigations" would be needed, escalating up to £1,000 for continuing "investigations", ALL OF WHICH PROVIDES NO GUARANTEE OF PINPOINTING ANYTHING to do with diarrhoea. Basically, not happy with this and put in complaint, together with fact they do not like revealing the estimate costs of each procedure unless you pay them in a consult to tell you prices. After filing complaint , owner said "well you got a long consultation, ie over 15mins" my reply was Carr spent 10mins looking for his utensil in office then sought staff to find for him. Rude, condescending owner came back with little or nothing to offer for £400 spent when seeking specific direction on cat's ailment. Essentially, this clinic was seeking in excess of £1,000 even before looking at treatment, that's if they could ever locate and resolve the problem. In my view they are incapable and make their money off sending you on a wild goose chase with your credit card to no avail! AVOID THIS CLINIC.

We visited them on the most difficult and heartbreaking moment for us. They were helpful, friendly and compassionate. They treated Nala with respect and made sure she was not in any pain during her final moments. For that we are grateful. Thank you

We were on holiday with Georgie a small sprocker dog she was seriously ill with gastrointestinal problems. We got an appointment with the Teignmouth vets very quickly. They were amazing she was hospitalised and rehydrated. They were so thorough and professional and I was given such good advice I was so worried and they were able to reassure me. What an absolute brilliant team . She was seen again the next day for another consultation and we were able to take her home where she continues to improve . Thanks to the wonderful care she received from the nurses and vets. Thank you all so much .Jean Capaldi
