Absolutely appauling vets...want me to book and appointment constantly for medication review, flea tablet anything to get you over the door for that £65 ..my dog had a medication review and heath check a couple of months ago and I pay them £100 roughly a month for his meds , (ive explained several times that i cant afford to see the vet constantly), now they wont give me them unless I pay yet another£65 to see a vet...they are now run by a huge conglomerate ...receptionist a rude and miserable...ive now gone to white cross vets and I just cant believe the difference, helpful pleasant and dont want to rip you off constantly and do a fantastic monthly plan that saves you so much money...be warned before you take your animal here, it's the worst I've ever been to, even the vets leave and hardly get to see the same one ...ive had dogs for 50 years which is a lot longer than these receptionists have been alive so im not being bullied or blackmailed by some little jobsworth

The best vet surgery we have ever been to. The vet I spoke to was so amiable, helpful and full of knowledge. He had warmth and empathy I had never felt before. The infomation he gave helped us understand what we needed to do to support our Conure parrot, in conjunction with the task the vet had to do. Absolutely wonderful experience.

After my snake injured himself I called Ark and they managed to shuffle things around so they could see him the same day. All the staff were friendly and helpful, their prices are good and they didn't try to sell me anything or push me into getting unnecessary x-rays or scans. Brian the vet taught me how to give painkilling injections and gave me some iodine for free so I can clean the site before I administer the injections. This shows that they're not money orientated like some vets, they care about their patients more than making a profit. I would recommend Ark 100%.

Absolutely wonderful vets, both Brian and Inigo are very knowledgeable about small animals and really looked after my gerbil Cinnamon who needed surgery to remove an ovarian tumour. She is recovering well and they surpassed all of my expectations as I didn’t know if they could even do anything for her. Would definitely recommend!

A vets we will forever swear by!!! Myself and my partner have all 4 of our pets registered with Ark Veterinary practice. Having exotic pets can be so difficult for specialist care, as we had to learn the hard way with our previous pets. However, I can hand on heart say we have NEVER had a worry or a doubt with this vets. Brian is a CREDIT to this veterinary practice and deserves so much recognition for his evident care and endless knowledge on our exotic pets! He will always take time to explain how to improve housing, diet or general care - conversations myself and my partner look forward to due to Brian’s love of reptiles. Our bearded dragon may not be Brian’s biggest fan (nothing personal Brian x) but we definitely are!! We sing this vets praises to everyone we meet, and highly recommend any of our reptile/rodent keeping friends to register here!!! Our first encounter with Brian was a couple of years ago, when he cared for our senior male rat. He had been misdiagnosed and mistreated at another well known vets which did not disclose their lack of understanding for exotic rodents. Brian cared for our rat, Hermes, with so much care and respect - making sure he was comfortable in his final days, something which myself and my partner will forever be grateful to Brian for. Everyone at this surgery, from the amazing students (sorry I didn’t catch their names), to the welcoming receptionists, the caring nurses, and the amazing and knowledgable vets, are worth their weight in gold. Thank you for being everything we asked for and more as exotic pets owners! And thank you Brian for your book recommendation 😂
