  All the staff are welcoming and helpful, some are more knowledgeable than others but all try to do their best. My dog had an operation with the surgeon Louie, he was very reassuring and considerate all throughout the appointments before during and after the operation. My dog has recovered well, I feel that this is in someway down to the aftercare that we were advised to do and followed it. The Trust is reliant upon donations and timely payments from the patients to be able to offer this very reasonably priced treatments for pets. I always recommend them to fellow fur-parents.

  I was referred to Blackburn by my local branch as my dog needed a surgery that they couldn’t perform. From stepping in the door the service was 5*. The ladies on Reception were friendly and efficient, the waiting room was clean and well looked after and I only waited a short time for my appointment. The vet was amazing!! He was lovely with my little dog and took time to explain the procedure to me, even showing me my dogs x rays. He listened to my questions and put me at ease about the whole thing. When I collected Rocco, again I only waited a few minutes in reception and the same vet then told me how the op had gone, showed me new x rays and went through the aftercare. He was so warm, informative and friendly and I felt like he really cared about my pet. I cannot recommend enough and I wish that Blackburn was my local branch!!!

  The staff here are fantastic. The service is pretty good. The only downside to the Animal Trust is you cannot always see the same vet, however I understand that there is a process to this. I’ve recently been in with my pet to have surgery and I understand that deposits need to be taken which I don’t have any issues with however what I do have an issue with is how that deposit is explained. I was told that there would be a deposit for surgery for my pet, which I haven’t got a problem in paying upfront, but what I wasn’t told was if the Surgery is £430 or more the deposit is £430. If it’s less the deposit is different. On a further visit, I was told something completely different. The Animal Trust has reduced prices for people that need it which I think is a fantastic option so people can look after their pets but in terms of costing especially around the topic of deposit this needs to be much clearer. I understand deposits are taken for valid reason but I think a £430 deposit for a £430 surgery is a little excessive.

  Animal Trust Vets is absolutely fantastic and they always look after myself and definitely look after my pet dog. The vets are attentive, friendly and supportive I basically could not ask for more. My Shih Tzu Lilly always feels at ease.
