  The best vets,the staff,were really good and the vets especially Julia was excellent. I have a pet that needs surgery and is now booked in.Cost wise so affordable.Brilliant and outstanding.My Bonnie has a mass on her back and a few others that Julia will remove.

  2nd visit to Animal Trust since transferring this year with my old dog. We could no longer afford the pet insurance which had gone up to £100 per month. Its refreshingly different. No pressure to engage in expensive treatment or to purchase treatments from the practice. Showed me on line both times suggested things that would help with gut problems. Joined the health plan to help spread the costs and have saved money already. Have recommended to all my friends.

  Bruce came in last week for an operation and every single person I have spoken since has not only made me feel comfortable, at ease but made me proud as a fur mummy! All of the staff are lovely and listen to everything even when I waffle but I appreciate it. I’ve had such bad experiences with other vet practices I wouldn’t take my pets anywhere else now! Bruce loves you all💙 and Luna can’t wait to meet you all

  I can't praise Animal Trust highly enough. Their care for my cat was wonderful. The vet spent time with me and gave me all the information I needed to make the right decision about treatment. Snowy is now doing well.

  We took one of our reactive dogs to this vet as he had started limping, they requested an X-ray which we agreed and he had to be sedated. We received a phone call stating it was devising news (bone cancer) and while he’s sedated they can take his leg (which may give him 3 extra months to live) or euthanise him. At this point that wasn’t an option for us as we needed time to digest this news and come to grips with saying goodbye. The vet was reluctant for us to take him home and was very rude in person stating we were not putting the dog first and he’s in excruciating pain and he can over ride our decision if he needs. our dog walked in and out of this practice with an intermittent limp. The vet provided us with pain relief for less than 2 weeks which were 3 separate medications. We have gone back and asked for more medication as he is doing well with still just a limp and is making memories with his family with preparations in place for his final days. A Second vet gave us 2 medications and refused the third as the first vet hadn’t wrote this in his notes. Then they told us the first vet wants another appointment in person which we were reluctant to do as I said earlier he is reactive and they want him muzzled with sends his anxiety through the roof and they already stated he now on palliative care. we agreed to a telephone / teams consultation with the receptionist which did not happen the vet refused contact with us, we went in personally to the branch and the receptionist was rude, we used the online chat they wouldn’t answer us it took 6 days for us to receive medication for a dog on palliative care with less than 3 months to live. He will go in his own home around his family when he is ready not when this vet wants the money for extra X-rays, amputation and euthanasia. Animal trust employees at Ashton under lyne need retraining in politeness, dignity and respect. And if needed I will name the vet and receptionist to avoid at all costs.
