  We take our cats here and everyone is so friendly and lovely and look after your pets so well! We recently rescued an abandoned cat and they were so helpful and since she’s been home she’s so much happier! Couldn’t recommend Abbey Vets enough!

  I have just collected my black labrador after having a procedure to remove a grass seed stuck deep inside his nostril. This needed a general anaesthetic. I am very impressed with the thoroughness of the vets involved and their friendly manner. My dog was much calmer there than he has been previously at other practices. Also the nurses and receptioni staff were very helpful and friendly. I cannot recommend this practice highly enough. Thank you.

  Thank you for your care of both my cats, the second one so recently deceased. Good explanations and support to both animals and owners. Special mention to Brian and Cam who took the time to really listen and then advise without being dictatorial.

  Our dog was referred there for an MRI. Jacqueline and team were brilliant, locating an area of concern that our vet couldn't and then the MRI confirmed it. Total confidence in them and our dog now seems well on the mend. Thanks Jacqueline!!!

  After several months on a roller coaster ride with Ronnie’s health and wellbeing, we were referred to Abbey Vets in Grimsby by our regular vets for an MRI and further investigation. At that point Ronnie was in a very dark place. His mobility was severely compromised and the bright, colourful, charismatic personality we know and love had almost disappeared. It was heartbreaking to see him like that. From the moment we arrived at Abbey Vets, the level of care, compassion and professionalism shown towards Ronnie and ourselves was exceptional. The team treated Ronnie like he truly mattered, not just as another patient, and throughout an incredibly emotional and stressful time they gave us reassurance, honesty and genuine support. The investigations and treatment they carried out quite literally gave us hope again. Seeing Ronnie gradually regain his strength, personality and spark has meant the world to us. We know there is still a journey ahead, but without the care and expertise of Abbey Vets we genuinely do not know where we would be now. A special thank you to everyone involved in Ronnie’s care. You helped bring our boy back to us and for that we will always be grateful.
