I phoned around 5 different vet surgeries for an emergency appointment for my cat with an infected cat bite who has never been to a vet before and was told I would need to register him online before booking an appointment (understandable) I called woodland vets and from the first second on the phone, registration was easy, had an appointment booked within 5 minutes the receptionists couldn’t have been more helpful, I was worried about how he was going to react with the staff (he doesn’t normally like new people) but I was told he was good as gold, I was kept informed every few minutes throughout the whole appointment and was back home within half an hour, thank you all for your help!

I phoned this vets for advice on getting my puppy sorted with his vaccinations and anything else that was needed. They were really friendly and helpful and were able to get him in promptly. Welcoming atmosphere on arrival and check up went without a hitch.

Sadly I had to have my cat put to sleep this was done at woodlands at manadon and they were fantastic I asked for the ashes to de delivered to my vets woodlands at ivybridge the ashes were delivered to them on a Tuesday by the Friday I still had not heard anything so I contacted the crematorium who apologised on behalf of the vets for not letting me know they had recieved the ashes on a Tuesday and had them for 4 days and still hadn’t contacted me it might not be important to them but it was very important to me to have my pet home asap I anxiously waited all week for the phone call and when I asked why I hadn’t been contacted I was told “I don’t know ? “ so I feel there was no support or compassion whatsoever very disappointed

Can't fault them. Have had both my dogs looked after by them. Were kind and caring when we had to say goodbye to one and made her feel comfortable. Even had a card from them. Still looking after are other dog. Would recommend them and will be taking any future pets to them.

Unfortunately, our pet dog Sparky who was well over 14 years old had to be put to sleep as he was poorly. I would like to thank Alan, the vet, for helping us at a difficult time yesterday and showing compassion, understanding and professionalism. Alan also ensured that Sparky was at ease the whole time and said "come on big man" when he picked him up the last time. Those are words which I will never forget as Sparky would have loved that! Thank you so much Alan. Mark and Jane.
