I've been there this morning as my dog has an inflammation in the skin around her eye. I did mention that it seemed that her eye duct was blocked, causing an inflammation. The very young doctor took a picture of my dog's eye, spoke endlessly to basically say that she didn't know what it was, but that the first step would be to give ANESTHESIA to my dog (she's almost 13 and has heart issues), to get a sample to see if it's CANCER, but that nothing could be done today. I asked if she could give me a topic cream and anti inflammatories, to start with, she said NO. I asked if she could ask someone straight away, as they're a HOSPITAL, she said she couldn't. The receptionist was also very unpleasant and treating me like I was just making a fuss out of nothing. They charged me over £60 for nothing. I booked another vet somewhere else, also a young guy, he said that he thinks it's a blocked meibomian gland, gave me eye drops with steroids and antibiotics on it, and booked me to see him again in a week. If it doesn't get better, he'll then think about checking for something more serious. Why do you employ vets that are so unprepared to do the obvious? Also, your water bowl was dirty and barely had water on it. You guys could do so much better, starting with firing the vet that has no idea what she's doing there (obviously just charging us clowns for nothing).
Read on Google →Cannot praise this vets enough for the care and compassion given to me and my fur baby. From walking in and having to make the toughest choice, they did everything and more to support me. I am eternally grateful especially to Ezra who made Obi so comfortable.

Read on Google →Please read all of the reviews for this surgery before even considering taking your beloved pet to them. I wrote reviews for this practice 10 years ago and they were consistently taken down, they were simply in it for the money and the current reviews show the same. Don’t go near them.
Read on Google →I wouldn’t recommend this vet to anyone. I took my 5 year old lab to Voo on a Saturday evening as an emergency. He had developed very sudden lameness in his front leg and was in a lot of pain. I had emailed over his medical notes prior to the appointment as he has osteoarthritis and elbow / hip dysplasia. We were kept waiting for what seemed like ages and when we were eventually seen by the consultant she told me she had read 1 page of his medical notes as “she couldn’t possibly read all 45 pages”. She did suggest keeping him overnight but I wasn’t keen on this so she suggested I take him home with Gabapentin - a medication I already had. When I questioned if this would be enough to help his pain she told me that “he wasn’t that bad” and “he would be fine” I was up all night with him and the next morning I called again explaining that the swelling in his elbow and leg was much worse and hot to touch and he wasn’t eating or drinking - he was deteriorating very quickly and the Gabapentin was doing nothing for his pain. I was told that if I brought him in again, they would only give him Gabapentin due to his “complex medical history” - a history that they hadn’t read! I wasn’t sent the clinical notes from the visit (I only received the notes when I phoned to complain a few days later). The notes state “to seek immediate medical attention if swelling worsens, becomes red or warm or if systemic signs develop”. But this critical information was never mentioned to me during the consultation. When I called on the Sunday I was told that the vet on duty had been fully updated on my dogs condition by the Saturday vet yet when I explained his worsening symptoms, they didn’t think it was a medical emergency despite what was stated in the notes. They just didn’t seem to care at all. It was awful just watching him deteriorate and be in so much pain My dog actually had septic arthritis and he nearly died. I wish I had read the reviews before taking my beloved dog there.
