Took my little dog to this place because she had issues with sight and it appeared she was beginning to go blind and after consultation we was informed of the various options we had in what we could do and told the prices straight up no push to pick one and we was even told if we wanted to we could do nothing and though she may lose her sight she could adapt and find her way about the house and learn to function and the Dr told us we would not be judged if this is what we decided because everyone is different the receptionist’s are also very friendly and offered tea or coffee to us while we wait. We decided on having our dog go through with the surgery and every step of the way alot of care and compassion was shown to us and our little dog and the Dr was very careful and kind to her and interacted really well with her on the day we took her for surgery we was informed of what will happen step by step and told we would be called if anything develops or if she is all finished for pickup the surgery lasted most of the day and at one point we was called to inform us that they had to sedate her again because after the surgery she managed to catch a suture at her eye and took it out so they sedated again and took care of it later on we was called to collect her and she was ok just very sleepy from the sedation she had a cone on and we was told by the Dr step by step what had happened During surgery and he said everything looks good and then he told us what medications she will now need to take and when and we was provided an A4 paper of full updates the first section being a typed up summary of events of the surgery and even noting the part where they had to sedate again and other sections tailored personally to her of what aftercare to do and names of the medications and frequency to administer them they provided these medications to us already bagged and informed us of what intervals we would need follow up appointment check ups for our dog to monitor progression in recovery overall I would say great experience very kind and caring people very fast service not much wait at all and very open and friendly staff with alot of compassion and care to taking care of you and your pets needs. Thank you to the whole team

"My 9-year-old British Bulldog, Chester, was referred to Vet Eye Care following complications from a growth removal surgery at his local vets. The specialist, Achilleas, was absolutely fantastic with Chester. He was incredibly thorough during the examination and explained every procedure, which gave us immense reassurance. When the decision was made to operate further, Chester required a week of scheduled drops and ointments beforehand. Achilleas documented this schedule perfectly for us to follow at home. He was also completely transparent about costs and incredibly helpful in finding ways to reduce our expenses via a prescription, which we really appreciated. The operation itself was very successful. Achilleas even used diagrams to explain the procedure, making everything so much easier to understand. The follow-up phone call the next day to check on Chester's recovery at home was a lovely, appreciated touch. All the staff were wonderful, including the two receptionists, Rachael and Kaylee. This is a great team, and I highly recommend them to anyone needing specialist care for their pet. I cannot thank them enough for taking such good care of Chester!"

We recently visited Vet Eye Care with our boxer, George and we couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. From the moment we arrived the reception staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely lovely, which immediately put us at ease. The clinic itself is absolutely beautiful so clean, calm and clearly designed with care for both pets and their owners and they have fab coffee! Amy the vet was outstanding. She took the time to explain everything clearly and patiently, making sure we fully understood George’s condition and the options available. Her calm, reassuring manner made a potentially stressful situation feel completely manageable. She was also wonderful with George, handling him with such kindness and confidence that he stayed relaxed throughout. Overall, the level of care, professionalism and genuine compassion we experienced was exceptional. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Vet Eye Care to anyone wanting the very best for their pet.

Excellent care from our first contact to my dog being signed off following his final check after successful surgery. I knew the team were well qualified for the treatment he needed, but I was delighted with the compassion and gentle care they showed to him - never forgetting that he is still a puppy and early experience is so important. They were also exceptionally kind to me, from offering me tea and coffee every time we attended the practice, to patiently reassuring me and keeping in close contact with us and our referring vet throughout my dog’s care. I am very grateful to them and would not hesitate to return should we ever need their expertise again. Most importantly - my dog would happily visit them again too!
